Black Sesame Technologies is looking for enthusiastic fresh graduates to join our team as Design Engineers. We’re excited to expand our campus hiring plan for 2025 and are seeking candidates who are eager to dive into the world of ASIC design and contribute to cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing micro-architecture for ISP and CV algorithms.
• Perform RTL design using Verilog/System Verilog and HLS tools (Catapult).
• Support the analysis of metrics related to power, performance, and area.
• Collaborate with architects and DV Engineers to ensure efficient verification signoff.
• Help with FPGA tasks, including emulation, validation, and debugging.

Qualification/ Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Master’s degree and above in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering.
• Experience: Entry-level position; relevant coursework or project experience in ASIC design or image signal processing is a plus.

Technical Skills:

o Experience/knowledge in Verilog/SystemVerilog and C/C++.

o Familiarity with ASIC design processes and frontend design.

o Knowledge of image/vision/video data processing or algorithm acceleration is beneficial.

o Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Tcl) is a plus.

Soft Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

· Source and procure sub-contractors and suppliers and collate prices for comparison.

· Review and understand all specification and drawings.

· Preparation of cost loading.

· Meeting and negotiation with upstream and downstream with regard to quantities/unit rates/schedule of rates, payment claim, specification/drawings, scope of works/responsibility matrix, variations, as necessary.

· Prepare upstream payment claims and downstream payment responses

· Correspondence with upstream and downstream pertaining to contractual and cost related issues

· Sub-contract award and documentation

· Filing of variations / evaluate & monitor project variations

· Perform value engineering and cost control in tandem the with design development

· Undertake other ad-hoc duties and assignments, as and when necessary

• Ensure a safe work environment at the work site and manage workers.
• Assist the Construction/Project Manager in overseeing the daily construction and site coordination of different activities.
• Responsible for preparing, submitting and monitoring technical drawings, method of statements, and shop drawings.
• To monitor the progress of work against the baseline schedule & preparation of daily records & monthly site progress reports.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil/Structural) or equivalent preferably from a recognized University accredited with PEB, Singapore.
• Possess a Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering / Structural / Architecture and related discipline.
• Experience with LTA Projects or public residential projects would be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Projects, Autodesk AutoCAD/Revit.
• Ability to keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

· Carry out structural design and produce professional engineering calculation complying to Eurocodes and prevailing building control regulations

· Attending all project/ technical meetings with authorities, developer, and contractors

· Prepare technical engineering reports as and when required by authorities or clients

· Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out

· Familiar with engineering software and latest code of practice

· Lead and co-manage a team of operational staff to meet the objectives and targets set by the project

Job Requirements

· Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil) recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore

· Minimum 5 years and above of working experience in local Civil and Structural consultancy firm

· Able to perform structural analysis using design software such as Tekla, SAP2000, SAFE, ETABS, Prokon, etc.

· Ability to co-manage, lead and inspire project teams

· Willing to and with enthusiasm to learn in the field of civil and structural engineering design

· Able to work independently

· Possess good communication skill

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for all users on Enterprise and OSS/BSS applications (e.g., Remedy, Service Web Portal, Corporate Portal, Payment Portal, etc). This includes application software configuration, programming, enhancement, and testing based on changing business requirements.
• Work with internal and external parties on technical solutions and solution implementations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent, preferably with relevant experience in OSS and/or Telecommunications industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint..
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience in web services and dynamic web application developments (SOAP, WDSL, PHP, JSP, Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle, MySQL etc).
• Knowledge of working with tools such as Python with Django Rest Framework, Postgres Database, Nginx application server, Workflow would be advantageous.
• Experience in Linux environment and application server setup is advantageous.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
• Pro-active, meticulous, resourceful and strong team player.
• Able to work independently under tight schedules.
• Work well with all functional levels in the organization.
• Candidates with over 4 years of relevant experience will be considered for Senior Associate Engineer position.
