The Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electric Engineering.
• 8+ years of building successful machine learning software solutions.
• 3+ years of experience managing ML and software engineers.
• Strong machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying ML solutions on Azure or other public cloud providers.
• Understanding of best practices in MLOps and software development processes including coding standards, code reviews, data and model pipelines, source control (Github), and test automation/CICD

Reporting the RVP Finance & Corporate Administration, we are seeking a dynamic Business Partnerships & ESG Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of corporate structures, compliance and ESG principles, as well as a proven track record in partnering and managing internal and external stakeholders and teams.

Principal Responsibilities

Key duties and tasks will include, but will not be restricted or limited to:

• Develop and implement comprehensive regional compliance programs and policies that align with local and international regulations.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
• Monitor and report on compliance performance to senior management.
• Ensure internal company policies and see that they are respected.
• Make sure the organization has a clearly defined program for complying with the country’s laws.
• Constantly report to management concerning the organization’s compliance with laws and regulations.
• Take action in dealing with non-compliance situations, creating realistic plans to overcome them.
• Conduct regular audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situations.
• Communicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations.
• Working with other departments in the company, such as the legal, human resources and finance departments, to ensure compliance of all departments.
• Manage and coordinate corporate secretarial services across business partners, multiple countries, and jurisdictions to ensure alignment and compliance to local, international, and internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure all businesses are coordinated for compliance to business requirements for board meetings, business laws, shareholder contractual agreements, etc., in alignment with Menzies Aviation and respective country laws.
• Oversee the development and implementation of ESG strategies and initiatives in alignment with Menzies Aviation’s ESG goals
• Manage the concerted efforts of all business units across the SEAC to maximize the efficacy of ESG initiatives
• Translate the return on investments for ESG and report to stakeholders for decision-making capabilities and benefits
• Ensure adherence to ESG standards and reporting requirements.
• Identify and address ESG-related risks and opportunities.
• Ensure that initiatives and programs are well received by the business and communities with appropriate marketing
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.
• Assess and mitigate compliance and ESG-related risks.
• Develop and implement contingency plans for potential compliance breaches.
• Provide advisement for corporate structure design and strategies in consideration of laws, finance, taxes, operations, and partnerships.
• Ability to travel internationally when required and in accordance with business needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, preference in law, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate compliance and/or ESG roles.
• Experience in a multinational corporation.
• Preferred certification in compliance or ESG management.
• Strong understanding of applicable compliance regulations (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, labour standards, environmental, ISO, aviation).
• Proven track record in working with remote regional teams and operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English plus one other; Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malayu, Thai, Vietnamese, Tagalog
• Experience in compliance and risk management.

Job Description:

Responsible for delivery of time-critical projects related to customer acquisition and demographics maintenance, client screening enhancements, sanctions and controls, Anti-Money Laundering transaction monitoring, customer householding data governance, and end user computing remediation. Provide direction and technical leadership on complex, high-impact projects throughout all phases of the development and implementation process with a primary focus on regulatory compliance initiatives. Manage data related to classification and accountability, conduct root cause analysis, prioritize issues, develop remediation plans, and implement effective tactical and strategic solutions. Analyze data and prepare and present regional/global reports related to risk assessments and monitor related issues and escalations. Lead reengineering efforts in business methodology, strategy, and organizational goals. Accountable for the management and execution of continuous data quality standards, controls, metrics, and Data Concern Remediation Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 6 to 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing data analysis within the information technology industry.
• Six (6) to Eight (8) years of experience must include:
• Working with data governance, data risk control frameworks, Enterprise architecture frameworks, and policy development to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards and optimize enterprise-wide data management practices.
• Utilizing data and analytics tools, systems, and processes as well as Enterprise Architecture Platforms, Anti-Money Laundering, Know-Your-Customer, Customer Due Diligence, Householding, Master Customer Record process, and systems to leverage insights for strategic decision-making, enhancing regulatory compliance, and streamlining operational efficiency for improved customer experience and risk management outcomes.
• Utilizing Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance, and Data Compliance within a financial services firm to establish and maintain a robust framework for data management, optimizing data quality, and facilitating strategic decision-making processes.
• Assessing and challenging adherence with policies and standards including data quality and adoption of data governance capabilities and initiatives
• Utilizing project management methodologies and tools to plan, execute, and monitor projects in listed domains, ensuring timely delivery, resource optimization, and stakeholder satisfaction while adhering to budgetary constraints and quality standards.
