Key Responsibilities

• Achieve the company’s sales targets.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Relationship Management & Business Development to join our Treasury Services team. This role is located in Singapore – Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Responsible for relationship coverage and business development by marketing the firm’s treasury services (transaction banking services) to key Financial Institutions, including Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) in South and Southeast Asia region.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for acquiring, managing and growing the portfolio of key client relationships (covering both existing and new, target clients).
• Manage large and sophisticated clients with complex buying /decision-making processes.
• Continually evaluate client needs and ensure sustained client engagement to grow revenue while strengthening business relationships.
• Track and report pipeline and progress against account plans developed for key accounts.
• Adopt enterprise-wide relationship management approach by collaborating with internal stakeholders and across lines of businesses to deliver a holistic customer experience.
• Ensure relationship management strategy is executed through pro-active account management and deployment of client service and implementation teams.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Strong core competency, experience and knowledge in Transaction Banking products and services, especially correspondent banking/clearing services, FX payments, Trade Finance, Cash Management and Liquidity management solutions.
• Proven relationship management experience and a well-established network of Financial Institutions and NBFIs; or has worked in a similar role within the Financial Services/ Banking Industry.
• To contribute to the bank’s APAC strategy and business development by bringing local market intelligence, knowledge, insights and experience.
• Experienced in negotiating agreements for inter-bank transactions, for example, nostro account agreement, Master Risk Participation Agreement, Trade Loan Agreement etc.
• Good working knowledge of using data analysis tools such as Swift.com Banking Analytics, Swift Traffic etc.
• Strong experience in KYC/AML risk and control process for Banks.
• Past experience covering the South Asia market region (e.g. India, Bangladesh) and fluency in local language will be an advantage.

What would an Account Manager (Freelance On-site) do at Hogarth?

As an Account Manager (Freelance On-site), you'd be responsible for project managing localisation work for our client's Marketing Communication materials across different platforms. Working closely with our client's Marcom Project Managers and a network of creative talents from various markets across South East Asia (SEA), you'd also engage with other cross-functional teams of producers and project managers to ensure work is delivered on time, on quality and within budget. You'd constantly need to communicate and negotiate priorities and deadlines with internal and external teams to ensure expectations are well managed. Your primary tasks include organising and coordinating schedules, distributing workload, tracking progress of projects.

We are seeking a freelance professional to work on intermittent projects, each lasting 3-5 weeks. You will be required to attend about 4-5 on-site projects at the client’s office in One-North. Outside of on-site project, we will continue to engage you for freelance basis. This role offers a mix of on-site and freelance work, providing a dynamic and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

Validator Network Management

• Organize teamwork, create a balanced work schedule and ensure work is of high standards and delivered on time
• Flag any potential team issues to the line manager and be actively involved in finding a solution
• Highlight and resolve quality control issues with the network

Project & Account Management

• Coordinate and ensure all parties follow the agreed workflows and manage them through the process
• Ensure that there is clear division and allocation of workload among team members
• Ensure that trackers are updated at all times
• Monitor timelines and manage client expectations
• Advise line manager on resource gaps and flag potential issues
• Ensure account delivers consistently against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs
• Identify bottle necks/pain points for the validation network, suggest resolution and advise

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years Project Management/Traffic background in an ad agency or in-house creative department or language service agency
• Experience managing multi-market projects
• Experience working on global brands, ideally across all media, including print, interactive and film
• Experience working on localisation or linguistic projects will be a bonus
• Demonstrable experience managing total creative workflow, i.e, internal briefing, briefing to vendors/studios, managing key milestones/deadlines, presentations/internal approvals, executions, delivery

Job responsibilities

Global solution business development

· Participate in global solution business projects in which GHQ will invest capital, as a regional liaison

· Build relationships with local decision makers and influencers such as government executives and leading local companies

· Share information with stakeholders at GHQ and in Asia Pacific countries, and align their opinions to reach a consensus for global business development

· Monitor progress of business development and ensure that activities comply with the company’s codes, standards and rules

· To establish the initial project scheme and structure considering the project cash flow

BU Business Support

· Oversee and support all Business Units in MHI-AP, collaborating with Strategic Business Units (SBUs) in MHI Headquarters

Project Risk Management

Requirements

· Degree in Business or equivalent

· Minimum 10 years working in Sales and/or Business Development department of power plant and/or engineering industries.

· Excellent Japanese Language skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent level) in both business writings & speaking to coordinate & communicate precise information with Japanese stakeholders in the APAC region / counterparts in Japan HQ.

· Excellent business acumen with proven business development track records & strategic vision

· Project management experience and knowledge of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) works

· Finance and Legal knowledge for project finance
