Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Management of all patients under their care, including but not limited to:

· Active involvement in daily ward rounds

· Ordering and reviewing of investigations and treatment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support:
• Manage daily administrative tasks for the laboratory, including scheduling, correspondence, and filing.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with laboratory quality standards.

2. Sample Management:
• Receive, register, and document incoming samples in the laboratory ’ s information system.
• Ensure samples are properly labeled, stored, and routed to the appropriate laboratory sections.

3. Inventory and Supplies Management:
• Monitor and manage laboratory supplies and administrative materials.
• Coordinate procurement requests and track delivery schedules.

4. Other Duties:
• Provide general administrative support to the laboratory team as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma.
• Prior experience in administrative roles, preferably in a laboratory or healthcare setting, is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
