Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Responsible for delivering the sales target set for assigned Viatris business
• Service accounts, develop prospects, executing sales and marketing initiatives, market data collection and customer insights gathering
• Account Management
o Set clear objectives and develop strategies for each account to drive penetration and growth
o Establish good rapport with decision makers (at all levels)
o Service and maintain existing business (contracts, quotations, tenders, relationship management)
o Proactively seek new business opportunities
o Track account sales and provide accurate forecast (sales, penetration rates and market share)
o Establish sound understanding of customer needs, challenges, competition, key trends etc.
o Successful listing of new products into hospitals and clinics

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration or Biomedical Sciences preferred
• Minimum 2 years sales experience in pharmaceutical/medical device industry
• Proven track record in driving and exceeding sales targets
• Self-starter, high level of personal motivation and results-oriented
• A team player with ability to work effectively cross-functionally
• Willingness to take on new pilots/stretch roles in the areas of marketing, digital and analytics and new ways of working
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent planning, presentation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Possess a class 3 valid driving license and preferably possess a car
