As a DevSecOps Application Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in integrating security practices into our development and operations processes. You will collaborate with development teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security controls, and drive security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Security Integration: Integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring security controls and best practices are embedded from the early stages of development.
• Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments, including static and dynamic analysis, to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in applications.
• Threat Modeling: Develop and maintain threat models to identify potential risks and security weaknesses in applications and infrastructure.

• Security Policies and Procedures: Develop, document, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for application development and deployment.

Requirements

• Tertiary education in Computing, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Min 5-6 years of experience in application security, DevSecOps, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with security tools and technologies such as static analysis (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA).
• Programming Knowledge: Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, and familiarity with secure coding practices.
• DevSecOps Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of Standards: Familiarity with security standards and frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or ISO 27001.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Create a detailed project plan and timeline, highlighting tasks and milestones for each phase. Identifying key audience, website objectives, and essential features, ensuring alignment with target users and the website's purpose.

• Developing high-fidelity mock-ups based on the approved wireframes. Followed by, defining the colour schemes, typography, fonts, and other visual elements to be included on the website.

• Create an interactive prototype of the finalized website design.

• Set up the development environment, including installing development tools, creating the project repository, and organizing the folder structure. Start building the website layout using HTML and CSS, ensuring it was responsive and compatible across different browsers. Laying the groundwork for a robust and flexible website.

• Enhance the website by implementing interactive elements and dynamic content using JavaScript. This involves adding features such as sliders, modals, and interactive forms.

• Setting up back-end framework and database. This involves designing the database schema, creating tables, and defining relationships. Populating the database with initial data and developed scripts for data import/export if necessary.

• Configuration of web hosting, domain and SSL certificate to secure the website. Ensuring that all components are linked correctly and deployed the website to the live server. Post-launch, monitoring the website for any immediate issues or bugs and addressed them promptly to ensure a smooth user experience.

Firmware Developer

Job Description:

• Design, develop and troubleshoot embedded firmware for networking, Wi-Fi/ Zigbee/ Bluetooth/ KNX RF wireless and IoT products
• Integrate new functionalities to existing firmware for performance enhancement
• Work closely with Hardware team for the Hardware/Firmware integration and testing
• Provide support to sales team, manufacturing and customers

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with embedded C/ C++ or Linux drivers, kernel builds, etc
• In-depth experience in Linux and embedded firmware development especially in networking, Wi-Fi / Zigbee / Bluetooth / KNX RF wireless, IoT or LED Lighting products is absolutely essential for this role.
