Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment

• Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)

· Work in team to analyze requirements both from Payment Networks and users

· Analyze changes required based on requirement specification (Payment Networks and Cardlink's user request)

· Design and code programs from technical specification

· Ensure that the code is reviewed before testing begins

· Produce a unit test plan and perform the test

· Perform system testing from system test plan and resolve defects found

· Comply with standards and quality procedures

· Complete all work within agreed estimate

· Minimum qualification: Computer Science degree or a similar equivalent

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in application programming and credit card industry

· Candidates must have credit card (CardLinK) and Payment Networks' experience and knowledge

· All round knowledge of OS/390 Environment (CICS, TSO, JCL, CLISTS, ISPF, Cobol)

· Good system analysis skill

• Experience with IBM FileNet is required, with a solid understanding of document management and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful/SOAP web services, along with expertise in ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere).
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git), and build tools (e.g: Maven, Gradle).
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React) is a plus.
• Understanding of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Must be able to speak and write English proficiently;

a. Have at least three (1.5) years' post graduate experience working with Personal

computers or compatibles;

b. Have at least three (1.5) years' post graduate experience using MS OS such as

Windows 7 or higher and Microsoft Outlook;

c. Able to conduct unit, module, functional and volume testing; to analyze test results

and to take corrective action

d. Must have 1.5 years’ Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 (or higher version) programming experience

f) Must have 1.5 years’ Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio programming

experience (Database Engine; Analysis Services, SQL Server integration Services, Reporting Services)

g) Must have 1.5 years programming experience in ASP.Net
