Duties and Responsibilities:

• Brand Management: Interpret the central brand guide and guide country teams in its application across organic and paid channels. This means having a solid understanding of how media planning works and being strong in performance analysis to optimise for the best results.
• Content Creation: Develop content customised to the unique traits of each platform. For example, a LinkedIn post should 'feel' different from a newsletter; a press release should be different from a message blast to our founders community. In other words, possess sensitivity to media consumption patterns and have a knack for adaption.
• Industry Insights: Be in tune with the latest developments of the startup world and advise Group Product on the best ways to structure output so that BLOCK71 remains at the forefront of meeting founder needs.
• Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives.

This person writes well, conceptualises well and is conversant with different communications channels. Technical competencies

• Degree with miminum of 5 years experience in marketing, preferably in startups, startup ecosystem

The Role

• Manage the payroll system and performing payroll duties, including identifying, verifying and resolving discrepancies for payroll
• Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly or payroll cycles as per company schedules, including income tax, reimbursements, CPF payments, and tax filings for both local and foreign employees
• Ensure timely submission of monthly CPF payments, tax filing for both local (Form IR8A) and foreign employees (Form IR21)
• Liaising with statutory bodies – IRAS, MOM, CPF, etc.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employees’ payroll-related inquiries
• Prepare and submit surveys (MOM, CPF, SNEF, IMDA, Department of Statistics Singapore, etc.)
• Handle government claims and grants (e.g. NS/ Maternity/ Paternity/ PSG, etc)

Role and Responsibilities

You will be required to assist our business leaders to analyse the overall technical requirements of our strategic business initiative and to propose and design the overall system and applications solution that will serve as the backbone of the software platform.

You will be responsible to evaluate various technologies and frameworks, plan out the proof-of-concepts, and establish the MVP exit criteria for the proposed functionalities.

You will be hands-on to design, develop/code, QA and roll-out the proposed applications from POC to MVP to full blown capabilities so as to enable the business to reap its ROI. In this regard, you will be adept in every aspect of coding competencies, including but not limited to frameworks, mobile and web program design and coding (in person), API development, DB and system performance tuning, cloud setup, and the incorporation of ML and AI engines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate in the requisite IT, Technology, Computer Science and/or Engineering disciplines;
• At least 10 years relevant working experience in this field;
• Proven track record in the coding and implemention of projects of this nature and scope;
