The Job
You will be a part of Taxation team whose primary focus is to service and support our existing clients in their taxation needs.
Key Responsibilities
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities (but not limited to):
– Liaise with clients and collate the information required for the preparation of tax computations.
– Interact with business teams and local tax teams to identify and analyse implications of new and evolving business initiatives and priorities
– Prepare and/or review of income tax computations and tax returns for a portfolio of corporate and individual clients
– Prepare workings and withholding tax forms to the IRAS
– Keep abreast with the developments and ensure compliance in taxation rules and regulations
– Perform ad-hoc tasks/ projects
– Carry out any other duties / projects from time to time when assigned.Act as a channel of communication and information to BOD
– Lead in correspondence to enquiries on corporate tax matters and provide compliance requirements advice
Profile expectation
– ISCA qualification/certification
– At least 5 – 8 years of proven tax experience
– Strong research and technical skills with experience covering a broad range of tax matters.
– Experience with international transfer pricing dealings, leading complex and cross-functional projects.
– Conversant with the Tax Act and familiar with the regulatory and reporting requirements
– Good knowledge of processes and electronic filing requirements of IRAS
– Strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skill.
– Ability to perform under tight deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
– Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
