Job Description:

We are seeking a M&E Project Engineer Cum Drafter to oversee the mechanical and electrical aspects of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the M&E works on-site, preparing technical drawings, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering projects within schedule and budget. This role involves collaboration with contractors, suppliers, colleagues, and clients to ensure the smooth execution of M&E tasks from design to handover.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee M&E works on construction sites, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion.
• Prepare and review M&E designs and drawings, ensuring adherence to codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve technical issues related to M&E installations.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and quality, addressing any arising issues.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, Revit BIM for coordination, as-built drawings, and construction drawings.
• Prepare and submit regular project reports detailing progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Manage project documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and change orders.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to source M&E materials and equipment.
• Assist in the commissioning and handover of completed M&E systems to clients.

Requirements:

• Education: Minimum Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in similar industries in Singapore.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is a plus.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Good analytical and problem-solving abilities to address technical issues on-site.
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Other Requirements: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

M&E ENGINEER (Construction Interior Fit-Out)

Responsibilities:

• Manage MEP subcontractors work progress, drawings, materials, samples, method statements submission and approval.
• Review MEP drawings and identify discrepancies between MEP consultants, designers and client provision.
• Liaise with MEP consultants.
• Preparing and analyzing M&E contract documents and sub contractors quotation.
• Perform costing and budgeting for MEP package / tender.
• To manage projects by supervising and coordinating the site activities
• Manage and monitor MEP subcontractors site works installation progress, attending project meetings, liaising with clients and consultants
• Record all defects of works, ensure proper documentation for all variation orders and others
• To make pro-active response on site problems and resolved immediately with the Project team
• In-charge of MEP services T&C and to ensure all aspect of QA and QC matters

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma Holder in Electrical / Mechanical / Building / M&E Coordination

Role and Responsibilities:

· Render Engineering support for design, installation and maintenance of electronic security systems (CCTV, Card Access, RFID, Key Management Network Cable Management, Fiber Cable patch, Fiber Cable testing, Fiber Cross connect and Cable Management)

· Possess experience to provision, deploy, configure, and administer different pieces of network and security-related hardware and software. The aforementioned may include firewalls, routers, switches and other networking solutions.

· Coordinate and review all project documentations which include delivery notes, maintenance and operation manual requirements, cabling, testing and commissioning procedures and inspections.

· Strong customer orientation with soft skill to manage and maintain strong relationships with client, consultant, partner, and vendors.

· Possess skillsets to maintain upgrades, installations, and planning alongside exploration of new features and innovative solutions

· Possess the ability to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot technologies when new technologies are onboard by the company

· Setup and Configuring the AD, SQL, Windows Server, Switches, Storage and VMS/Card Access/Key management Software Application.

· Configuring RAID System and Troubleshooting windows, VMS and Storage system.

· Integrate the Third-party application and testing of installed systems, Applications & software.

· The ability to provide technical support for resolution of customer problems, incidents, issues, requests, and queries

· Liaise with other support teams, or product teams as required to resolve requests/issues in a timely manner

· Ensure proper documentation and notification updates

· Possess IT networking knowledge (Eg: CCNA and able to deploy/Setup L2/L3 network switches and routers).

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· At least 2 - 3 Years of working experience in the related field.

· Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer/IT technology.

· Possess excellent, clear and concise communication skill which is crucial to the project deliverables.

· Possess adaptability to work as a member of several teams, which requires flexibility. Candidates interested in this role should be comfortable working in a matrixed IT environment

· Possess excellent analytical skill as the primary role of the security engineer’s job is to solve issues for the clients,

· The engineer will also have to proactively perform research, escalate, and resolve issues effectively

· Enterprise firewall experience – experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls and gateway devices is important in this role
