Job Description

As a senior structural engineer, you will be involved in the design of infra-structure type of works (mostly Marine related). The department itself is involved in large and smaller projects locally and worldwide. In all our design activities we strive for an economic optimum where constructability plays a crucial role in our concept selection. Creative thinking together with your colleagues and our clients is very important. Our designs are performed according to the Industry Standards and within the agreed boundaries of quality, schedule and costs.

· Design and analysis of Marine Structures (reinforced concrete, steel design, ship-shore design and some geotechnical affinity),

· Discuss your designs with the project manager where you put forward technical advice,

· Mentor/ coach less experienced colleagues on the project,

· Support the drafters and BIM modelers to ensure the drawings and models comply with the design and specifications.

What are we looking for:

· You have a degree in Civil Engineering, focus on structural engineering and affinity with coastal and geotechnical engineering

· Minimum 8 years relevant experience in the industry

· You have knowledge of project management and Industry Codes and Standards

· You are pro-active, communicative and decisive

JOB SCOPE:

• Provide technical support and solutions to customers, ensuring successful application of products.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for customers.
• Assist in product integration and customization to meet specific customer needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product applications.
• Prepare technical documentation, including user manuals and application notes.
• Participate in product testing and validation to ensure compatibility with customer systems.
• Act as the main point of contact for technical inquiries during pre-sales and post-sales.
• Work closely with R&D and engineering teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and product improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide cutting-edge solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering with 1-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of Vision/Optical Inspection systems and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Experience with semiconductor optical inspection equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with programming languages (C++, C#, Python) is beneficial.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronics/PC hardware systems.
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
