Job Description:

This is a contract role for an Assistant Engineer located in Ang Mo Kio. Our client is a Japanese multinational engineering, electrical equipment and electronics corporation headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. You will involves extracting logs from electronics products and preparing them for hardware investigation using tools like jigs and laptops, all according to standard procedures. Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to provide Level 2 technical support

. The ideal candidate will handle critical tasks such as transaction investigations, scheme rejections, dashboard creation, application monitoring, and incident resolution, while ensuring seamless operations in a 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:
   • Provide Level 2 technical support for the application.
   • Investigate transaction inquiries and ensure timely resolution.
2. Monitoring and Analysis:
   • Create dashboards in Kibana for real-time monitoring of critical applications.
   • Fetch and analyze application logs from Kibana and Linux servers to investigate issues.
3. Data Management and Reporting:
   • Write and execute SQL queries to extract data for business requirements.
   • Generate financial reports in Oracle to meet audit and compliance needs.
4. Incident and Change Management:
   • Provide 24/7 support to resolve P1 incidents within SLAs.
   • Create and implement change requests for bug fixes, OS/server patching, and application restarts.

5. Disaster Recovery (DR) Support:
   • Deliver 24/7 DR support for the business.
6. Documentation and Process Improvement:

Skills and Experience:

• Strong expertise in transaction processing platforms.
