NLCS (Singapore) is looking for an enthusiastic, highly qualified and committed Junior School Office Staff, with an outstanding track record. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the development of a new school, drawing on the significant educational expertise and resources of NLCS International.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support for the VP (Head of Junior School), DH (Head of First School) and DH (Curriculum) including booking appointments with parents
- Providing the first point of contact for day-to-day communication from parents of Junior School students
- Managing Junior School student absence & lateness procedures, including follow-up with parents
- Ensuring that hard copy registers for all Junior School classes are produced each morning for use in the event of an evacuation
- Managing mass communication with Junior School parents
- Providing the communication link between Junior School academic staff and the operations department (catering, security, facilities etc)
- Providing administrative support for:
- Junior School ticketed events
- Junior School sports events & fixtures
- Junior School parent consultations, information days and other parent engagement events
- Junior School staff meetings & staff briefing
- Subject specialist teaching staff cover
- Junior School procurement
- Junior School trips and visits (booking tickets, arranging transport, etc)
- Weekday co-curricular activities (CCAs)
- Maintaining Junior School student records/files
- Managing the first school reception area, as an internal reception function
Safeguarding:
- Abiding by the school safeguarding policy and keep abreast of any changes
Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum Diploma and above
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a school or other education environment
- Candidates with previous experience in an international school setting preferred
- Available to commence work immediately
