We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Manager to oversee operations and drive business growth in the office furniture industry. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strategic mindset and the ability to travel between Singapore and Malaysia to support business expansion and store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure seamless daily operations across all store locations, aligning with the company’s mission and vision.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand into new sales channels, including B2B and B2B2C markets.
• Lead the formulation and execution of growth plans for the next 1-10 years, with a focus on achieving financial objectives and business goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar operations management role, preferably in the office furniture or related industries.
• Strong expertise in managing and expanding both B2B and B2C sales channels, with a demonstrated ability to drive growth in these markets.
• Strategic planning and leadership skills, with a successful track record of achieving business expansion and operational efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

1) Model, motivate and communicate regularly to all site staff on the mission, vision, and core values

Responsible for all project execution, engineering and operational activities, including resource

management and personnel; drive continuous improvement across the operational management

system, processes and best practices; ensure all projects are performed to the highest safety standards

and quality control.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, some of your key responsibilities will be;

• Project Management – overseeing the scheduling and resourcing of offshore projects, ensuring all project risk is considered, recorded and communicated to the end client.
• Supply Chain - creating a supply chain in the Singapore/Malaysia that can support operations in the region & partner with operations and warehouse teams globally to source and allocate the equipment as required, ensuring the safe, efficient & on-time mobilization of project equipmentfrom the workshop locally.
• Facility & Equipment Management –fitting out a new facility if there is such requirement, co-ordinating the workspace/facility requirements and equipment resources as required.
• Resourcing & Recruitment – Overseeing the recruitment of all operational personnel, ensuring they are competent and fully trained for their role. You will also manage the technician resources and ensure all projects are delivered with competent personnel.
• Client Management - Ensuring operational technical support matters are dealt with promptly and professionally, making this aspect a key attribute of the Ashtead Technology brand.
• Financial management – you will provide input towards budgeting, reporting and business planning activities and hold responsibility for the project budget and forecasting, including working on CAPEX, and adopting a ‘no surprises’ approach to reporting and communication.

Responsibilities

• Capable of handling full range of fund accounting services on funds, including preparation of the Net Asset Value (NAV), cash and position reconciliation, review of corporate actions, validation of security pricing
• Able to check accuracy of fund administration services on funds and investors in compliance with the company’s service model and policies, liaising with, brokers, custodians and auditors

• Maintain and remediate investor details in a centralised database and calculate trail fees based on the distributor agreements.
• Supporting the company’s anti-money laundering (AML) framework in place and working closely with various parties involved, investor, Fund admin, Transfer Agent to ensure compliance with the AML framework.
