The LNG Technical Advisor role will be based at the Shell Metropolis office and will work alongside the LNG Trading, Operations and Freight teams in that region. What’s the role?

As an LNG Technical Advisor your main responsibilities will include:

• Monitor cargo data via QCM (Quality Control Module)
• Validate and approve Measurement and Testing clauses in commercial contracts and lifting agreements.
• Dispute resolution - technical issues e.g., off spec cargos, equipment failure, warranty claims
• Develop LNG specific measurement and testing standards.
• Stand as the process owner to oversee adoption of such standards in practice by both internal and external testing facilities doing business with Shell.
• Provide Training to internal and external customers regarding LNG Measurement, Quality and Custody Transfer equipment.
• Support trading operations in day-to-day shipment of LNG cargo.

What we need from you

• Prior experience with LNG custody transfer measurement procedures/equipment required.
• At least 10 years of LNG supply chain experience required.
