Sunday Bedding is seeking a Warehouse & Operations Officer to support our team in ensuring a smooth execution of logistics and warehouse operations. This role requires expertise in processing orders, packing stocks, managing housekeeping of the warehouse and maintaining accurate records of inventory.

• Process customers’ orders including picking, packing, arranging parcel collection
• Packing stocks for our retail outlets, pop ups, stockists
• Receive shipment, unpacking and arranging stocks at the warehouse
• Set up stocks for pop ups according to our visual merchandising guidelines
• Support product photoshoot’s operations, including setting up, steam-ironing of sheets
• Manage housekeeping of the warehouse ensuring there’s enough space for current and incoming stocks, organize space for efficient workflow
• Conduct stock count at the warehouse
• Support retail staff as and when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

2. Responsibilities

POS Setting

- Regularly update the POS system to reflect new promotions, discounts, or product listings.

- Reconcile daily sales reports with the POS system

Stock Management

- Ensure timely restocking of promotional items

Staff Training

- Train staff to deeply understand the brand and products, enabling them to engage with customers naturally and effectively.

Daily Briefings

- Share important updates about promotions, new arrivals, or operational changes with the team at the start of the shift.

Store Events

- Develop and execute in-store promotions, discounts, or events that align with seasonal themes or special occasions, driving foot traffic and boosting sales.

- Design and execute store layouts and displays based on seasonal trends or upcoming events to enhance customer engagement.

3. Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Retail, Business, Marketing, Management or a related field.

- Relevant experience in managing e-commerce platforms(Shopify) is preferred.

- Proven ability to manage, optimize, and maintain product listings and inventory across both online and offline channels is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners are preferred.

- Attention to detail and a responsible attitude toward inventory management and ensuring cross-channel consistency are preferred.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, point-of-sale systems) is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Customer Service (In-Store Duties):

• Ensure a positive and professional shopping experience, offering assistance with product recommendations and store layout navigation.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and complaints with efficiency and courtesy, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Assist with visual merchandising, keeping the retail space organized and aligned with brand standards.
• Process in-store transactions and handle cash and credit card payments accurately.

E-Commerce Order Management:

• Process e-commerce orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Coordinate the preparation, packaging, and shipping of online orders, ensuring they meet company standards for quality and accuracy.
• Track and update customers on their order status, including shipping and delivery details.
• Handle invoicing and ensure proper documentation for all online orders.

Product Management & Inventory Support:

• Create and maintain new product codes in the system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date listings across both retail and e-commerce platforms.
• Regularly update product prices in the system, in alignment with sales promotions, seasonal changes, and inventory updates.
• Support inventory management, ensuring stock levels are accurately reflected in both retail and e-commerce systems.
• Collaborate with the team to track inventory levels and assist with restocking when necessary.

Administrative & Operational Support:

• Assist with returns and exchanges for both retail and e-commerce customers, ensuring proper processing and documentation.
• Support operational tasks such as inventory audits, monthly sales reporting, and promotions planning.
• Provide assistance with special retail events and product launches both in-store and online.

Qualifications:

• GCE O Level / A Level / Diploma holders seeking internship / contract employment whilst waiting for results
• Prior experience in retail, e-commerce, or sales administrative roles.
• Previous experience and genuine interest in retail customer service is essential.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Lazada, Shopee etc.) is a plus.
• Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiarity with inventory management or ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

Working Hours:

• 3-5 Day work week (up to max of 45 hours per week)
