Job Summary:

· Develop and maintain 2D CAD drawings (e.g. PFD’s, P&ID’s, One-Lines, General Layouts for all disciplines, Plans, Sections and Details, etc.) using software such as AutoCAD (required), Microstation and/or SmartSketch.

Responsibilities

· Develop / Maintain Level 1 and Level 2 FPSO project schedules to assess realistic key milestone achievement dates through FPSO acceptance reflecting internal forecasts to support overall project decision making

· Prepare schematic schedules for specific audiences to support project decision making

· Coordinate and interface with various project stakeholders including site & overall project planners, Contractors, Project Leadership Team, and 3rd parties to timely identify execution issues and concerns and their impacts on the project's overall schedule

· Lead schedule recovery planning, and provide key input to and steward contractor schedule incentive plans

· Issue executive weekly dashboards for PMT, including progress, manpower efficiency, productivity, skylines, etc

· Provide timely analysis of current trends including identification of opportunities, challenges and proposed mitigations, and status/effectiveness of mitigations

· Assess Contractor integrated schedules for usefulness, logic, level of detail, input sources, timing, lines of communication, and interfaces with other functional elements and consistency with the Project Plan

· Review Contractor weekly / monthly reports for accuracy (including progress measurement and resources) and feedback corrections

· Robust support to Contractor’s and Subcontractor’s Planning team to develop basis of schedules, methodologies, and benchmarks; work with contractors to address schedule and execution plan quality issues

· Test overall FPSO schedule health utilizing Acumen Fuse

· Plan and execute schedule risk analysis utilizing Acumen Risk Software

· Ensure integration of subcontractors’ schedules and progress measurement into overall FPSO view

Leadership Activities:

· Provide overall FPSO schedule and progress measurement leadership and expertise; mentor others on key concepts

· Prepare and present clear and precise reports on key schedule related topics to support management decision

· Guide and provide direction to the company planning team; consolidate site schedule concerns/opportunities for escalation as needed

· Steward Contractor's planning organization with respect to schedule development, control, and progress measurement

· Review and, where appropriate, endorse schedule and progress Baselines and forecasts prepared by Contractor; advise contractor organization on recommended improvements

• Operate the power plant according to procedures and requirements including but not limited to starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the complete plant and systems

The Role

The Marine Operations Superintendent is part of the team to execute the company's current shipmangement contracts of Offshore Construction Vessels (OCV).

The Marine Operations Superintendent is based in Singapore and is expected to travel outside Singapore for as determined by the needs of the business.

This role reports to the Marine Manager of SingTech Offshore.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain OCV's marine equipment safely, economically, and efficiently in accordance with customer contracts/Charter Party.
• Serve as the onshore contact point for the OCVs in day-to-day operations related to technical management and mobilization activities.
• Maintain contact with the owner in daily operations, as defined and agreed with the Marine Manager.
• Ensure that Statutory and Classification surveys for all plant and equipment on the vessels are carried out.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMS maintenance system by providing proactive feedback to the Marine Manager.
• Monitor and follow up on the vessel’s technical performance and defined KPIs.
• Take immediate actions to adjust and improve performance in case of non-conformities or when deviations are observed/reported.
• Report the vessel's technical status on a weekly basis to the Marine Manager.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise ship repairs and dry-docking of vessels in cooperation with other stakeholders.
• Lead Vessel Condition Assessments.
• Participate in appraisals and selection of key personnel onboard the vessel.
• Comply with the requirements and report non-conformities.
• Actively cooperate with other disciplines within the fleet to optimize overall vessel and fleet performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Marine Manager.

Key Competencies

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Sea time on OCVs preferred.
• Experience in operations/technical scope for OCVs.
• Proven experience in budgeting and cost control.
• Preferably possess ship management skills.
• Able to travel at short notices.

• Internal Coordination: Working closely with departments like HR, facilities management, marketing and the different service lines to coordinate and ensure seamless execution.
• Cleaner Coordination: Coordinate with the cleaner to start the cleaning process promptly. Ensure they have clear instructions on what needs to be done.
• Furniture and Equipment: Arrange for the removal and storage of furniture and equipment used during the event. This includes tables, chairs, AV equipment, etc. Ensure that everything is returned to its original layout and condition.
• Review cleaners’ deployment and duties to optimal use of manpower.
• Regular inspection for conformance to service standards and expectation of cleanliness, waste management, landscape and pest control.
• Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.
• Monitor the cleaners’ schedule and ensure that they carry out their duties accordingly
