Your expertise

Be part of our CI/CD toolchain engineering team and contribute to provide a state-of-the-art CI/CD toolchain for modern software engineering, which is part of our DevOps platform. Help to support our agile programs and software engineering teams to efficiently deliver valuable and high-quality solutions and changes to our business.

• 6-13 Years of Experience in Azure Cloud Platform foundational products (AKS, Azure Databases, Virtual Networks, Function App, Cache etc.)
• Continuously improve the CI/CD toolchain and services in close collaboration with the agile teams, software engineers and architects
• Solid experience with at least one automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Knowledge of Azure CLI, Azure PowerShell or ARM
• Experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Helm charts, GitOps)
• Excellent Linux and Windows system administration including Bash, PowerShell (or Python)

What the role is

The Waste Management Division (WMD) is responsible for the regulation of the waste collection industry, the Public Waste Collection scheme, general waste disposal facilities, the Extended Producer Responsibility and Mandatory Waste Reporting schemes. Through these programmes, WMD aims to achieve an efficient and sustainable waste-to-resource management system in Singapore. It also enforces against illegal dumping activities.

The Producer Responsibility Department (PRD) under WMD oversees the development, administration and regulation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Schemes for waste streams such as E-waste and packaging waste, as well as the Mandatory Packaging Reporting(MPR) framework. It is responsible for the licensing of the Producer Responsibility Scheme (PRS) Operator and the regulation of recycling facilities under the EPR schemes. It is also responsible for the audit and verification of data submitted under the EPR and MPR schemes to ensure stakeholder confidence and integrity of the system.

What you will be working on

You will be part of a dynamic team that is involved in the development and implementation of e-waste management strategies and initiatives, including those under the Zero Waste Masterplan. You will be required to take on a regulatory role to ensure industry and stakeholders’ compliance to the Resource Sustainability Act on e-waste management. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on cross departmental initiatives and projects related to e-waste; and to play a vital role in achieving Singapore’s vision of becoming a Zero Waste Nation. You will be responsible for the following:

• Review global and local landscapes for sustainable e-waste management strategies and technologies
• Develop and implement plans for key waste streams (i.e. e-waste)
• Administer and regulate Extended Producer Responsibility and related reporting schemes for e-waste
• Work with other departments/agencies to develop and build up capabilities for the e-waste recycling industry
• Conduct audits, inspections and enforcement to ensure compliance of relevant stakeholders with the Resource Sustainability Act
• Verification of company declarations on regulated electrical and electronic products and packaging supplied in Singapore, including data audits.
• Work with other departments to review performance of regulated systems (e.g. extended producer responsibility, product stewardship) after implementation and recommend enhancements/refinements
• Work on the required legislative amendments for current and emerging regulated waste management systems
• Work with other departments/agencies to support national efforts on circular economy, resource optimisation and recycling
• Work with other parties to roll out initiatives to improve e-waste collection by the PRS Operator
• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for

• At least Bachelor degree in chemical/mechanical/electrical/environmental engineering and/or equivalent field
• At least 1 - 2 years of experience in solid waste management/sustainability/auditing is preferred

We are looking for a highly-skilled Test Automation Engineer to support our eBanking solution in:
•design and develop test automation scripts based on our test automation framework

Your team

You will be part of the APAC Touchpoint eBanking Development & Testing team based in Singapore, working with local & global developers, and business across APAC and Switzerland.

Your expertise

You have:
- 5+ years of professional experience with test automation (including 3+ years of professional experience testing REACT JS and SPA applications)
- good exposure with Java, Cucumber, Maven, Jenkins, Selenium and/or Appium and customized frameworks.
- Good understanding and hands-on working experience in agile environment
- experience working in banking domain plus especially in WM, across geographically distributed teams
- hands On Experience in test data setup for Digital Banking solutions involving complex upstream systems
- Individual contributor and a proactive QA engineer, good Team Player
- Plan and design test strategy for the scrum team applications
- Co-ordination with stakeholders to highlight risk and issues in testing
