- Carry out inspection, installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and troubleshooting for the assigned jobs that include but not limited to:

- Provide internal & external trainings on electrical controls, electrical troubleshooting, PLC program writing & troubleshooting, control panel assembly and basic electrical theory.

- Produce Progress Tracking Report (PTR) for assigned jobs.

- Report and communicate with customers and Oceanmaster PIC the technical issues, status, progress and recommendations of the assigned job.

Requirements

- Graduate of Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Bachelor’s Degree)

- Minimum 5 year experience in Marine Electrical field

L1 Support Engineer

Work Location: Central, Singapore

Job Type: 2 Years Contract, subject to renewal

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and skilled L1 Support Engineer to join our IT team in providing top-notch technical support to end-users in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Azure and Microsoft technologies, a basic understanding of networking equipment such as ARUBA Access Points and Fortinet Firewalls, and the ability to resolve end-user IT issues efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues raised by end-users (EU) in a timely and effective manner.
• Document and escalate complex technical issues to higher support tiers when necessary.
• Support and maintain Microsoft 365 applications and related services.
• Assist with basic Azure cloud platform administration, including user management and resource monitoring.
• Provide basic support for ARUBA Access Points and Fortinet Firewalls, including monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with senior network engineers to address advanced network issues.
• Conduct routine checks on IT systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Assist in deploying patches, updates, and configurations as required.
• Work closely with other IT team members to maintain a high level of IT service delivery.
• Ensure clear and professional communication with end-users to understand and address their concerns.
• Perform other related tasks as when required.

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in an IT support or similar role, preferably within the financial services sector or SME environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365 and Windows OS.
• Basic understanding of Azure cloud platform administration.
• Familiarity with ARUBA Access Points and Fortinet Firewall configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with end-users.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Are you passionate about working on innovative cloud solutions in secure environments? As a Systems Engineer (Cloud), you will play a vital role in bringing cutting-edge air-gapped cloud technologies to life.

In this role, you will be responsible for installation, configuration, deployment, and proof-of-concept tasks to deliver secure, enterprise-grade systems. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to overcome challenges in infrastructure, software, and networking. Your efforts will directly contribute to the stability, security, and reliability of critical operations centers while advocating for customer and operator needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure air-gapped cloud solutions, such as Google Distributed Cloud (GDC).
• Install, configure, and manage IT technologies, including network switches, firewalls, block storage, object storage, servers, and hardware security modules.
• Set up IT infrastructure for operations centers, including workstations and other equipment required for air-gapped solutions.
• Troubleshoot and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve infrastructure and software issues during deployment.
• Enhance deployment and management processes for air-gapped cloud solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux, operating system technologies, and cloud architecture/infrastructure.
• Proven expertise in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SaaS/hosted services and proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, C, C++, .NET, Go, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes extensibility, including Custom Resources and Custom Controllers.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, subnetting, IP addressing, routing, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise-grade operating systems (Linux/Unix/WSL), Kubernetes, and network administration.
• Experience with Kubernetes virtualization, Service Mesh, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Familiarity with Cisco switches, network overlays (e.g., VxLAN and VRF), and routing protocols.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and supporting large-scale applications, including web services, data storage, and high-performance computing.
• Experience in data center operations and IT infrastructure management.
