• Minimum 'O' Levels / NITEC

• Consumer healthcare / FMCG experience preferred but not necessary

Logistics Operations Specialist

Your Role:

As a Logistics Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include:

• Logistics Optimization: Implementing and maintaining efficient logistics and warehouse practices.
• Supply Chain Management: Overseeing import and export processes, liaising with freight forwarders, and monitoring warehouse performance.
• Customer Service: Handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and meeting delivery commitments.
• Cost Management: Developing and maintaining a database of freight rates to optimize transportation costs.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to ISO standards, customs regulations, and export control requirements.

Your Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITE certificate in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management
• Strong understanding of import and export procedures
• Proficiency in SAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• A customer-centric approach

Be independent in research of advanced speech and audio algorithms and the development or implementation of such algorithms for embedded systems.

• Experience or knowledge of acoustic tests measurements for data acquisition and be familiar with state-of-the-art testing equipment.
• Experience of conducting objective/subjective evaluation of various audio algorithms on speech enhancement, active noise control, binaural rendering.
• Extensive experience in signal processing, acoustic modelling, adaptive filtering, noise suppression, active noise cancellation, hearing through etc.
• Ability handling C, Python, and script codes for system modelling, simulation and system implementation.

Qualifications Requirement:

• PhD with relevant experience (fresh PhD graduates are welcome).
• Extensive knowledge in at least one of the areas including: signal processing applied to audio, active noise control, speech enhancement, adaptive filtering and microphone array signal processing.
• Solid mathematical background.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ and/or Matlab/Python scripting as well as DSP algorithm optimizations
• Highly Desired:
  • Expertise in AI applied to audio, with hands-on experience in at least one deep learning framework in Python
  • Hands on experience in DSP code optimization and deployment for embedded audio systems
  • Knowledge and expertise of earphone active noise cancellation/hear through algorithm design and tuning, measurements and etc.
  • Top-ranking and/or award receivers in world competition in speech/audio signal processing field

Job responsibilities include:

• Interpret applicable Legal, Singapore Standards, Code of Practice & other requirements and implement & provide directions for compliance.
• Develop, maintain and periodically test out emergency response, Organize & conduct CERT audit and other emergency response relevant drills.
• Liaise with local authorities for all EHS issues, Licence renewal and represent the RC/SICA and other relevant meetings.
• Manage all EHS incident and non-conformance investigations and track corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Organize risk assessments, site inspections and industrial hygiene and environmental samplings as well as implement or direct risk reduction and control measures.
• Conduct and organize EHS audits, trainings, meetings and promotional programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge.
• Establishing EHS objectives & Targets and its management Programme for continual improvement.
• Contractor management on In-house & SDM (Shutdown Maintenance) activities.
• Should have strong awareness on Safety Case implementation as well as Mitigative Measures for Safety Critical Events (SCE) in Major Hazard Industries (MHI).
• Establish good communication with all level and function within the organization.
• Assist in the adhoc assignment or project assign by management.
• Spearhead continual improvement projects for HSE.
• Work with HSE department in organizing Annual Safety Campaign.

Requirements

• At least five years of primary experience handling safety responsibilities within HSE department.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the Manufacturing or Chemical plants. Preferably experienced in Jurong Island.
• Fair knowledge in chemical process and unit operations.
• The incumbent should be self-driven and possess qualities of collaborative working style.
• Possess at least a diploma.
• Must be a Registered WSH Officer with MOM and Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with SCDF.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Well versed with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ISO14001/ SS651(ISO45001) management systems.
• Knowledgeable in understanding and interpreting P&ID drawings.
