Contract Period:

• Primary Contract: 1 March 2025 to 31 December 2025.

Working Hours:

Personnel may be deployed in one of the following shift schedules:

Shift 1:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 10:45 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (45-min lunch break included)
• Fridays: 10:45 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. (45-min lunch break included)
• Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Rostered Saturday duty)

Key Responsibilities:

1. General Operations:

• Perform manual tasks such as moving tables and chairs.
• Conduct general cleaning of classrooms, special rooms, and the school field.
• Perform minor repair work (DIY) as needed.

1. Security & Traffic Management:

• Act as a traffic warden during school hours.
• Handle basic security duties, including monitoring school premises.

1. Contractor Supervision:

• Assist in supervising term contractors when necessary.

1. Shift Work:

• Perform duties based on the assigned shift schedule.

1. Other Duties:

• Carry out any other duties assigned by the school.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Pass in PSLE or equivalent.
• Experience: At least three years of relevant working experience in school operations.
• Physical Requirements: Medically fit to perform manual work and shift duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipments:

• Shipping / Logistics - Arrangements and follow-up on incoming / outgoing shipment, locally and internationally.
• Documentation – Preparation of Shipping documents, request forms, shipping invoices, customs declaration documentations, etc.

Inventory Management:

• Inventory Management and shipment around the APAC region.
• Ensure inventory listing for all warehouses is updated and communicated with the team through Microsoft SharePoint

Event Management:

• Manage Marketing activities roll-out for the Singapore Market, working in collaboration with Regional MPM and RMS.
• Coordinate logistics, such as catering, venue booking, and transportation.
• Prepare materials and set up for events.
• Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle Purchase Requisitions for Manpower / Marketing activities support purposes.

Administration:

• Point of contact for the APAC Marketing Team
• Updating the A.Com website to ensure new webinars and events are included on a weekly basis.
• Generate monthly expense overview report for Marcom Manager to keep track of the team’s budget allocation and invoicing status. Keep track of the Team’s Blanket POs (BPO) for key projects and work with agencies to ensure invoicing is done on time.
• Generation of Monthly Budget Report
• Update APAC Sharepoint site, including the events calendar on a weekly basis.
• General Invoicing – raising POs, updating QuickBase (budget tool)
• Organise team lunches / meetings as required
• Organise all logistics for the team
• Provide administrative support to APAC Marketing team.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing workstations (in Singapore) and orientation materials.
• Handle confidential information with discretion.

Administration Support for AVP:

• Support AVP APAC Field Marketing with any admin related tasks

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management or any other related field
• Minimum 3 - 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience in handling platforms such as SAP CRM, SAP ARIBA, Microsoft SharePoint, ASANA

Job Responsibilities

• Develop freight shipment solutions for improvements and/or closing gaps
• Maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, freight fowarders and port authorities to provide competitive shipping solutions to customers

JOB SUMMARY :

To manage, lead and oversee all aspects of daily operations for all manufacturing, manufacturing support and administrative functions needed to support shipyard operations. Responsibilities include, project execution including maintaining quality standards, cost effectiveness and time management to ensure projects are on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY :

1. Manage team and provides supervision to supervisors and foremen.

2. Directs activities in areas of safety and personnel, production, scheduling, material handling and quality and ensures compliance with all Safety, Quality, Company and Regulatory directives.

3. Directs and coordinates shipyard operations within company policies and procedures.

4. Responsible for providing the quantity and quality of workers to meet schedule and budget. With assistance of Senior Manager, trains assigned craft supervisors in safety, cost control, job skills, quality and scheduling.

5. Directs all phases of Hydro blasting, spray painting, power tooling, and cleaning work.

6. Creates and prioritizes necessary resources and steps required to accomplish goals on time.

7. Determines plant improvements and repairs along with costs and schedules.

8. Ensures product quality control goals are met and maintained as per the shipyard policies.

REQUIREMENTS :

1. Minimum 12 years’ experience in managerial role or other management level responsibilities in a shipyard environment.

2. In depth knowledge of all business functions associated with shipyard management.

3. Ability to understand and administer Classification guidelines

4. Ability to apply Continuous Improvement strategies across all functions.

5. Considerable knowledge in all areas of shipbuilding and repair, material handling, labour, safety and product related state and federal regulations and practices.

6. Proactive with good problem-solving skills, resourceful and able to work towards deadlines with right sense of urgency

7. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding proficiency in English and Tamil.
