Responsibilities:
· Conduct Aviation Physiology Training (APT) and other courses: conducting lectures as well as practical training in the various simulators available. This includes Human Training Centrifuge, Disorientation Trainers, Altitude Chamber, Ejection Seat Trainer, Night Vision Lab and Night Vision Goggles Trainer and any other equipment which may be incorporated as part of APT
· As Physiology Training Officer (PTO), responsible for smooth and safe operations of practical training when assigned, providing oversight and management of training staff in the various roles of practical simulator training
· Responsible for sourcing and creating educational material for the purpose of conducting APT or any other courses
· Revise and update courseware including presentation packages, study materials, case studies and exam questions (for appropriate courses)
· Manage and maintain the Quality Management System for Aviation Physiology Training as required
· Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
· MBBS or equivalent preferred; Diploma in Aviation Medicine (or equivalent); or
· Degree in relevant discipline (Medicine or Physiology)
· Experience, skills and knowledge in Aviation Medicine or related subjects
· Clinical skills as a doctor/specialist/sub-specialist in obtained qualifications will have an added advantage
· Experience in organisational management
· Good interpersonal & communication skills
