Who we are looking for

The Product Specialist plays an integral role in the ongoing relationship management of existing clients to educate clients and prospects in the use, features and benefits of the Charles River Investment Management Solution & Alpha Data Platform (collectively the Alpha Platform) across multiple Asset Classes within Asian Pacific Markets. Here's how your week might look like
Your day-to-day work will be supporting various country product teams—onboarding signed-off UX design screens to our translation management tool and checking in with translators to make sure work is on track.

We don't expect you to be a writer or a translator yourself. If you can read Simplified and Traditional Chinese, that's great! But not absolutely necessary.

Summary:

As the Product Marketing Specialist, you are responsible in driving successful products go-to-market, achieving both marketing objectives and business targets. As a Service Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for helping to drive sales volumes and margins across the service product portfolio and regularly updating the database with changes made on-site.

Reporting to Service Sales Manager, you will be playing a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions.

This position is based in Singapore.

Your responsibilities

• Understanding the channel strategy and the establishment of related prices and prepares sales plans, reviews them, and proposes recovery plan(s) when needed.
• Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying and developing sales opportunities for service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market.
• Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios.
• Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).
• Communicating contract details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy. Managing administrative sales processes.
• Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database.

Your background

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical /Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Possess 3 to 5 years of working experience in Engineering/Service Sales.
• Hands-on experience on Electrical Medium and Low voltage system servicing will be an added advantage.
• Highly sales driven and with the ability to develop and manage customer relationship.
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
