3. Management of Resources and the Teaching Environment

• Assist the AHOF in identifying appropriate resources within the limits of the departmental budget.

4. Assessment, Recording & Reporting

• Ensure students’ work is regularly assessed according to Humanities Faculty policy and that homework is in line with school policy.
• Report to parents in accordance with the school’s reporting policy as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
• To use information gained from assessment, recording and reporting procedures to generate further improvement in student achievement.
• Assist the AHOF in the setting and marking of school examinations and to supervise entries for external examinations.

5. Pastoral and Co-Curricular

• When required, take on a form tutor role in the Senior School and fulfill the responsibilities of that position.
• Follow the School’s policies and procedures with regard to discipline and behaviour, daily routines, duties, homework, leave of absence, and visits, as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
• Contribute to co-curricular activities that broaden pupils’ experiences and contribute to the general life of the school.

6. Communication and Liaison

• Collaboration and liaise with collaborators like Medical Education Programme Managers and Meeting Planning teams to ensure the success of events
• Provide on-site support for Medical Education events, including management of registration desk, digital signage and printed collateral at a given facility.
• Welcome guests and provide front-of-house assistance for all courses, creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth event operation
• Manage onsite Smith+Nephew-branded materials and printed collateral supporting consistency in customer experience across all Academies.
• Monitor and update pantry inventory regularly to ensure all required items are stocked and available for events and day-to-day operations.
• Multimedia Coordination: Liaise with the Medical Education Program Manager and AV team to gather required multimedia content and updated on the media wall
• Ensure all facility multimedia players are loaded with the accurate content specific to each event.
• Collaborate with local vendors to be responsible for onsite cleaning and catering services.

Academy Operations Management:

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning training facility.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to ensure the Academy is safe, clean, and well-functioning.
• Conduct regular inspections of the Academy to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues.
• Coordinate repairs, upgrades, and maintenance tasks with relevant vendors and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and emergency protocols.
• Manage facility access and security systems to maintain a secure environment.
• Raise Purchase Orders (PO) and Purchase Requisitions (PR) to secure resources efficiently.
• Manage cross-charges for appropriate cost allocation across projects and departments.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of the Academy to ensure all service contracts are up-to-date, well-maintained, and aligned with organizational standards, proactively preventing any potential disruptions.
• Reconcile and submit payments for the Corporate Meeting Card, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Develop a system to gather feedback from attendees and internal teams regarding facility functionality and event support, using it to drive continuous improvement.
• Work with HSE to schedule staff training sessions on emergency protocols, such as evacuation procedures and first-aid response. Also, to maintain and periodically test emergency equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, alarms) to ensure readiness.

Reporting and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate report for HCP related expenses.
• Adherence to S+N business conduct policies and procedures. Maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance.

Others:

Summary

Reporting to the Lead, Regulatory Affairs & Quality Assurance SEA, you will be responsible for supporting the development and administration of STERIS’s global regulatory policy positions across product lines of the STERIS businesses by preparing international regulatory submissions for STERIS (and its affiliates) product approvals and the works to meet Singapore and other Southeast Asia countries post-market surveillance requirements. You will also provide support for plans to achieve identified corporate regulatory policy objectives. You are keeping abreast of and providing regular reporting to key business leaders on key regulatory developments that impact customers, or STERIS’s business directly.

What You Will Do

• Identify regulatory and post-market requirements for new products or product enhancements early in the product development cycle. Collect regulatory and post-market requirements for Singapore and other key markets in Southeast Asia.
• Gather information to support regulatory submission and related compliance activities. Use this information to prepare regulatory submissions in a complete, thorough format to support STERIS product claims. Coordinate compulsory test in the region when there is the need.
• Review product revision requests to assure compliance with regulatory and post-market requirements. Assess new product launch requirements and provide the regulatory information according to the needs.
• Work with product teams to develop regulatory strategy based on regulatory and post-market requirements.
• Review and approve labelling and marketing literature, as needed.
• Support supervisor, management and other Regulatory Affairs staff with all regulatory and compliance matters.
• Work with direct supervisor and senior internal stakeholders to identify key initiatives, which may be affected by present or emerging policies. Develop and recommend government affairs policy positions to upper management.
• Support QA on the Recall and Adverse Event reporting in Singapore and other key markets in Southeast Asia, perform Recall and Adverse Event reporting.
• Archive and maintain all paper and electronic submission documents properly.
• Protect company confidential information by properly storing, retrieving, and disseminating such information only to those authorised.
• Apply for special access and/or other permits related to product/site, as needed.
• Support QA on local quality system processes, GDPMDS, internal and external audit.
• Support on NEA Packaging Reporting, SPF Hazardous License, as needed.
• Conduct monthly update meeting with all relevant stakeholders, actively participate in RA/QA team activities.
• Monitor proposed and newly implemented regulations, assess impact to STERIS; develop and implement regulatory strategies to comply with regulations and minimize any negative impact to STERIS Business.
• Provide proactive and strategic guidance regarding pending regulations / government legislative actions and changes in the regulatory environment to the business units. Develop strong relationships with government and industry as well as notified bodies to ensure clear and effective communications and sources of information impacting STERIS.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

• 3 - 5 years solid experience with good track record in SEA Regulatory Affairs professions.
• Well-versed in the standards and regulations of SEA markets.
• Experience in Medical Device registration.
• A self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good organisational, time management, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
• Able to work under time pressure to meet deadlines and flexible to work additional reasonable hours to join in conference calls as required.
