Responsibilities
• Develop and enforce company safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments and implement corrective
actions to reduce the potential of incidents from identified hazards
• Assist in the investigation of accidents or incidents to discover their causes and find
solutions
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety
• Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and ensure adherence to
both the law and company guidelines
• Conduct training sessions and presentations for safety matters and accident prevention
• Monitor employees and operations to ensure compliance with policies and laws through
regular inspections
• Recommend solutions for issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose
new prevention measures
• Collaborate closely with product factories to enhance and synchronize technical safety
management across different products.
Requirements
• A Degree/Diploma in Safety Management or its equivalent
• Prior experience as Safety Specialist with in-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. WSH)
and procedures is preferred
• Possess excellent communication skills to effectively present and explain safety topics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
• Willingness to travel to various project sites in order to perform job duties
