Our client is from architectural & engineering services industry. They are looking for a AP Specialist to assist their team for the next phase of their business. They are located in East.

Duties:

• Communicate with internal teams to ensure accurate invoice recording in the accounting system.
• Collaborate with procurement and vendors to resolve any discrepancies in invoices.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Accounts Payable procedures and interpret contracts/agreements as necessary.
• Post invoices in the accounting system and facilitate payment uploads to the bank portal.
• Perform petty cash reviews at project site offices.
• Coordinate payment cycles for vendors and contribute to cash flow forecasting.
• Participate in process enhancements, system implementations, and other improvement initiatives.
• Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accountancy or any relevant field
• Min 5 years of relevant working epxerience

Job Description

• Position Title: Trade Operations Specialist/ Shipping Operations Specialist
• Working Location: Shenzhen, China
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 6 pm
• Salary Package: Up to USD80,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Trade Operations Manager in implementing commodity trading contracts signed.
• Review and check contract clauses, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Formulate import Letter of Credit (LC) applications in accordance with the contracts.
• Liaise with commercial banks on the issuance of LCs.
• Ensure full compliance of LC documents with the terms and conditions of LCs.
• Review trading contracts and follow up on shipping logistics arrangements.
• Handle shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, Mate's Receipts, and other required documentation.

• At least Diploma with minimum 3 years of related experience in Operations & Logistics, Import & Export Documentation and Shipping.
• Able to handle complex logistics arrangements (bulk shipments) and must have proven experience with bulk conventional vessels, specifically in handling fertilizer or other commodity bulk shipments.
• Prior experience in handling full shipping documents, including LC and Bill of Lading.
