Main Responsibilities

• Participate to the automation of the deployment solution.
• Participate in environment preparation for testing phases.
• Participate in developing tools to simplify day-to-day activities on the program.
• Facilitate coordination between program developers and infrastructure engineers.
• Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of the CI-CD pipeline.
• Provide investigation help while fostering knowledge and sharing best practices with team members.
• Document processes and ensure their properly followed.
• Ensure high standard delivery to production.
• Research, design, and develop software.
• Analyse user needs and develop software solutions
• Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.

Qualifications and Profile

Mandatory

• At least 8 years in Software development or DevOps team.
• At least 5 years in Java/J2EE development
• At least 5-year experience with Jenkins, GIT (GitLab)
• At least 3-year experience in Ansible
• At least 3-year experience in GitLAb

Experience: 10+ Years

Role: Senior Developer

Technical Skills

- Database "Should have good knowledge and working experience in Database Teradata(SQL, BTEQ scripting) and Hadoop (Hive, Impala, Kudu).

It will be good to have experience in working with No SQL as well as virtualized Database Environment"

- Datamodeling Should have good knowledge and working experience in FSLDM and Finance industry working experience

-BI Tools Should have working knowledge how BI tools integrate with Data Mart and Data Lake using BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI)

-Automation & Monitoring Should have good knowledge and working experience in scripting using (Shell script, awk programming, quick automation to integrating any third party tools), BMC monitoring tools

-DevOps Should have good knowledge and implementation experience in using CI:CD tools (Bitbucket, Github), quick automation to integrating with any third party tools for automated deployment

Architecture & Design

- Hadoop Architecture Good understanding in Hadoop, In memory, No SQL

- Data Modeling Good understanding and knowledge in Data Modeling area using industry standard data model (FSLDM)

Testing

- Automated testing Good understanding in automated testing using industry standard testing tool

Others

Mandatory "Prior experience in developing banking application using ETL, Hadoop and Teradata is mandatory. In depth knowledge of technology stack at global banks is mandatory.
