We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide essential support to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their stay.

Job Description:

• Prepare trolleys with water and hot beverages for breakfast service, ensuring timely delivery to patients.
• Assist in topping up supplies after morning meals and prepare tea breaks while awaiting lunch service.
• Orientate patients to their assigned beds and facilities, providing necessary information and assistance.
• Respond promptly to patients' call bells, relay their requests to the appropriate department, and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide feeding assistance to certain patients as directed by nursing staff.
• Guide and assist patients to toilets as needed.
• Monitor patients closely, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pantry supplies, alerting nursing staff to low stock levels.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in changing and cleaning patients when necessary.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the department-in-charge, contributing to the smooth operation of the healthcare facility.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum PSLE Certificate or equivalent
• Able to read and write in simple English
• Able to work in shift system (No Night / Graveyard Shifts)
