Job Scope:

• Intervention Work (Group or Individual)
  Objective: To address the unique learning and behavioral needs of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through tailored support sessions.
• In-Class Observation
  Objective: To provide support for students with SEN in the classroom by observing behaviors, ensuring safety, and helping create a supportive learning environment.
• Running SEN-Based School Programmes (Student-Focused and Staff-Focused)
  Objective: To support the holistic development of students with SEN and to equip teachers with tools and skills for SEN support through specialized after-school programs.
• Documentation and Administrative Support
  Objective: To maintain accurate records of SNTA’s interactions with students and provide essential administrative support for the SEN team.

Requiements:

• At least a diploma certificate in any area relevant to special needs with preference for those with at least 2 years’ experience working with students with special needs, in a school setting or both.
• Any credentials or qualifications in the teaching area will be an added advantage.
• Good to indicate min. years of required experiences.

Working Arrangement:

· Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 5pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

· Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays

· Service is also not required during school holidays

The job holder is responsible to provide administrative support to the department and function as a personal assistant to the HOD

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

• To assist the Head of Department to maintain personal files, co-ordinate staff appraisals and other confidential works
• Responsible for typing of professional memos and correspondence
• Responsible for calendar of activities for professional development
• Responsible for requisition of internet access, name cards, name stamps, laptop etc for department
• Responsible for stationery order
• To assist in the preparation of training/teaching slides and other presentation slides
• To coordinate/assist in the development of training programmes for basic and advance programmes
• Booking of facilities
• To organise departmental meetings, minutes taking and ensure follow-up of outstanding matters
• Responsible for preparation of monthly report, updating of department funds and other funds

(B) GENERAL

• To provide admin support for overseas visitors
• To provide admin support for all courses, including preparation of course materials, feedback forms, certificates, liaison with external partners and registration

Job Description

1. Manage daily leave & attendance via time software, including leave type entry, entitlement, application, certificate collection & approval and daily employee’s attendance.

2. Processing monthly payroll for designated job sites including processing new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.

3. Reviewing and verifying source documents as well as investigating and correcting payroll discrepancies.

4. Ensure timely & accurate submissions in all government and related claims, e.g., levy Wavier, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR21) matters etc.

5. Provide advice, information and support to department managers and employees on HR policy and Leave Balance, etc.

6. Maintain & regularly update the master database (personal file, personal database) of each employee.

7. Administer training related matters including coordination or enrolment of internal & external courses, update & maintain training record etc.

8. Prepare employment contract, confirmation letter, increment, promotion and HR-related letters

9. Assist in performance review process & administer performance appraisals

10. Work closely with operations to manage recruitment exercises, ranging from liaising with candidates, interview arrangement, on-boarding for new hires. orientation, guidance on policies

Requirements

• GCE 'A' level, diploma or higher in relevant discipline.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Meticulous, pro-active, multi-tasking and able to work under tight timelines.
