• Ensure accurate, timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Provide guidance on compliance.
• Review GST submissions and tax computations.
• Ensure statutory reports comply with accounting standards.
• Act as main contact for General Ledger audit issues.
• Plan and monitor stock counts
• Provide accounting guidance to GBS and operations.
• Handle other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong Technical accounting background
• At least 2-3 years general ledger accounting experience is required. Some audit experience would be preferred.
• Knowledge in SAP system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, i.e. Microsoft Excel, Power point and Word especially good command of advance Microsoft Excel formulas and functions.

Jobscope:

• Source direct purchases for operational needs, obtaining and comparing vendor quotes for cost analysis.
• Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing.
• Raise and manage daily POs and procurement records in Oracle Fusion (P2P) for Singapore and Malaysia, and in SAP for Singapore.
• Maintain Oracle Fusion ERP records and track orders, ensuring timely deliveries and following up on delays.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet product specifications and requirements.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and request PR creation from relevant departments.
• Any ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in SAP would be advantageous.
• Excel skills & Microsoft Office (Word, PPT etc.) skills
• Ability to work with team members and good communication skills.
• Self-driven with high independence in working.
