Responsibilities (Gadgets / IT):

• Purchasing and sourcing of new products.
• Prepare and raise PO.
• Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships.
• Support internal stakeholders and communicate any potential issues that may impact on business operations.
• Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.
• Prepare reports and updates as and when required.
• Monitor inventory, replenishment, and stock aging.

Responsibilities (English Books):

• Responsible for ensuring procurement of the category is done within allocated OTB and sales budget.
• Responsible for product categories allocated (Eg, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Children or Young Adult etc.
• Update monthly sell through analysis report, monitor stocks inventory, replenishment and stock aging.
• Analyse cost of category merchandising.
• Organise relevant information for negotiation with business partners.
• Liaise with suppliers on promotional activities and prompt delivery of stocks.
• Provide feedback on quality and effectiveness of partnership.
• Source for products.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure that Company's merchandising standards are met.
• Assist in major Fairs, Campaigns and Events.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business or related.
• Min. 1 year of relevant Purchasing / Merchandising experience.
• Knowledge of Books, Home Appliances, IT, and Furnishings products will be a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Office, SAP.
