Overall Purpose of the Job

• The Quality Executive will assist in the management of the day-to-day aspects relating to Quality Management Systems and Compliance
• The Quality Executive owns and implements quality assurance programs designed to ensure effective and consistent processes with established standards.
• The Quality Executive works closely with SLH Operations and 3PL to drive timely resolution on Quality related issues.

Job Description

• Manage quality in product receiving process (including receiving inspection) with 3PL
• Support the inventory management in quarantine cage with 3PL
• Quality oversight on 3PL product destruction process.
• Lead resolution in non-conformances and discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Coordinate between 3PL, Source co. or Franchise on the monitoring of ambient environment (temperature and humidity as required) and handling of issues according to predefined agreements.
• Supports repack, relabeling, over labeling, kitting and reworking operations conducted
• Back-up Coordinator for stop shipment/ recall processes within the DC.
• Support quality management of repacking, relabeling, over labeling, kitted, and reworked
• Support the QA release of product repackaged, relabeled, over labeled, kitted, and reworked
• Supports product complaints, service complaints process and systems.
• Acts as an administrator for automated IT platforms and audits and change control.
• Manages / supports records and document management.
• Supports training management.
• Supports Quality audits and related action planning/implementation.
• Support Escalation of quality issues to the management.
• Responsible for the capture and processing of complaints reported to DC (Products and Distribution related complaints)
• Support the Quality audits (Internal, External and Supplier) of DCs

Qualification:

Technical Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality or operations function.
• Task oriented with proven experience in the delivery high quality work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) other tools required to develop training materials
• Good analyzing / decision making ability.
• Customer (internal and external) driven approach.
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP), GxP and validation

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees import and export functions
• Prepare shipping documents such as shipping invoice, credit note, packing list, delivery order, certificate of origin, etc
• Liaise with the bank on letter of credit negotiation and document against payment
• Liaise with freight forwarder on cargo space and shipment arrangement
• Ensure documents such as bill of lading draft, fumigation certificate, and customs declaration certificate are received from the freight forwarder
• Liaise with insurance agent on insurance coverage
• Coordinate with warehouse and other departments to ensure timely delivery
• Perform accurate receiving of material into ERP system and ensure proper documentation
• Update customer on shipping document and arrangement
• Monitor and follow up on shipment status
• Advise and provide freight cost to sales department
• Monitor shipping costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality

• Check LC compliance, request LC amendment if needed

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications and experience:

• At least Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in shipping function, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations and customs procedures.

As Sales Executive, you will build relationship with customers, which may be end users, to understand needs and offers solution within a standard framework or range on pricing and margin. Services and supports existing customer accounts in assigned local geographic area, with a limited sales target or quota.

How You Will Do It:

• You will be responsible for expanding after-sales services (parts and services sales) for HVAC systems & Fire solutions to commercial ship owners, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
• This is a Hunter role, where you will leverage from our installed base to identify and engage potential customers, end users, and influencers. Collaborate with Services support team to grow after sales offerings
• Sales process ownership. Create quotations, specifications and sales proposals and manage the entire sales cycles from initial contact to closing
• Strategic relationship building by gaining a deep understanding of the decision-making processes within customer’s organization to secure successful outcomes
• Ability to connect, and nurture strong customers relationship with key influencers and expanding your network within the customer base to drive business growth
