Job Description

• Collaborate with the production team to plan, organize, and execute media-related events, including product launches, press conferences, and promotional activities.
• Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure smooth event operations.
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors and sponsors to secure necessary services and resources.
• Maintain positive relationships with partners, ensuring their needs align with event objectives.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial targets are met.
• Prepare and distribute event materials, including invitations, programs, and name badges.
• Oversee on-site event logistics,managing staff and volunteers to ensure a seamless execution.
• Address issues or concerns that arise during events, providing quick and effective solutions to maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Prepare reports highlighting key performance indicators and areas for enhancement.
• Act as a point of contact for event-related inquiries and communication.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Assist in monitoring and managing event budgets, ensuring expenses stay within approved limits.
• Submit invoices and track payments related to event expenses.

• Strong communication and human relations skills.
• Understanding the media industry, including its trends and key players, can be advantageous for planning events that align with the company's goals.
• Events involve numerous details, and an eye for detail is important to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
• Events often involve unexpected changes or challenges, so flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly are valuable traits.
• Enthusiastic and positive team player with a “No task is too small attitude”.
• Highly organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Minimum Diploma in event management, public relations, communications, or a related field is often prefered.
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin as one is required to liaise with Mandarin speaking.
