Job Scope
The Corporate Relations (CR) Adviser sits within the Client’s CR team and plays a pivotal part in protecting the Client’s license to operate and grow in the country.
The Adviser will lead and drive all the digital and social media delivery of the team, and may support other CR activities at the country level where required.
The scope of digital and social media delivery will be for both the internal and external communication needs of the team which are aimed at developing and delivering strategic and tactical engagement plans for the Client.
This includes the following:
• Own and implement the digital and social media strategy as part of the broader strategic communications strategy for the Client in Singapore, working effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Deliver impactful communication on these channels to reflect Client’s aspirations, capabilities, and thought leadership, with objective of building preference with partners, customers, staff, media and other stakeholders in Singapore.
• Working with the CR business focals in the Client’s team and other relevant global/regional Corporate Relations teams
• Subject matter expert on digital and social media campaigns
• Lead the development of an effective media buying and digital channel strategy for major campaigns throughout the year, and evaluate the Client’s brand image and awareness on digital channels, ensuring ad placement relevancy with optimum yield.
• Lead the development of full year social media strategy and content marketing plan, seeing through the end-to-end delivery from planning to execution with the intent of increasing engagement while driving follower acquisition across the Client’s social media channels.
• With the help of specialist agencies, monitor online conversations and sentiment on social media. Support the Client’s CR team to develop and publish effective communications to respond to or provide information to the public in the event of a crisis.
• Review performance, competitors, market trends, and in all these, apply measurement and analysis to continuously make improvements.
• Manage multiple media monitoring and insights tools used by the local Corporate Relations team, including in the event of a crisis as part of the Communication Support Team
• Support other business accounts and take on projects as assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marketing or equivalent.
• Strong communications skills, including sound writing and engagement skills, and practical experience in social media, web content management system, managing social media agencies and creative agencies, issues management, stakeholder engagement, and awareness of non-technical risks and key stakeholder relationships that may impact Client’s reputation
• Proven track record as a self-starter, willingness to assume management of complex projects, attention to detail and set priorities to meet deadlines
• Must have run campaigns in social media successfully.
• Ability to build effective working relationships across various department, with various contractors on site.
• Strong stakeholder management.
