Havas Media Singapore is looking for a Media Strategist to support the team with creating brand content strategies that bridge media, content and data for clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Work together with business teams and clients to establish their business & communications objectives; align closely with team and collaborate in developing end-to-end strategy-led comms solutions
• Define clear KPIs for the activity and how these will be delivered
• Analyse existing data, market reports and trends to generate compelling strategic insights as the basis for comms strategies
• Collaborate closely with research, data analytics and digital to develop, manage and analyse research projects
• Work with colleagues to develop campaign ideas
• Present ideas and conclusions to client
• Develop and lead workshops, both internal & with clients
• Help create an environment of quality strategic thinking across the entire agency
• Contribute to the development of award winning work
• Thought leadership
• Drive best practice on strategic planning across different teams
• Develop & train planning tools and process of planning within Mx framework
• Improve capabilities to spot & showcase award winning work

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication Science or equivalent
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in media planning with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to articulate strategy, rationale, and ideas
• Experience with media planning and buying tools
• Experience working on experiential programs, content creation, and new media platforms preferred
• Desire to learn more of the trends shaping consumer behavior today and in the future
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills

Our client is a leading Multinational Social Media company. The client is looking for a media analyst to join our Communications Measurement team to analyze the impact of our comms work across traditional press as well as social media and our owned channels in APAC.

Job Responsibilities:

• Read, analyze, and summarize media coverage of important company issues
• Work with different country team in Japan mainly, Korea and potentially Indonesia
• Inform the wider team on news cycles and policy issues domestically and internationally, and put them into their local context
• Working with the country team on any upcoming communications that is going to be released for any company platform(s) and analyze on the impact of these news/announcements.
• Create reports with media insights (including visualization) to assess the impact of different news cycles and inform future strategy
• Support the communications team in developing meaningful success metrics for its campaigns and initiatives across traditional (news) media outlets as well as owned, paid-for and earned social media activity

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Broadcast, Political Science, Marketing, Economics, Statistics or related field
• Min 2+ years of experience in a media analysis, research, journalistic, communications or related role, or working for a media agency, media analysis firm, a media measurement platform or think tank
• Familiarity with the media market in APAC
• Experience owning multiple deliverables and working in a deadline driven environment
• Experience in handling data sets and visualizing data a plus
• Experience drafting messaging materials; writing news summaries is a plus
• Understanding of metrics and analytics within the media environment
• Good communication skills and fluency in English and Japanese language to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
