Key Responsibilities

Conduct Process Evaluation Studies:

The Process Engineer reports to the Tender & Contracts Manager and is responsible for the below:

• Review Tender Documents, sourcing for materials, suppliers and vendors to obtain and review quotes.
• Communicate and negotiate with external vendors on pricing, scope & other contractual terms.
• Assist with tender documentations preparation, cost reports and cost plans, administer and evaluate tender process and submit tender proposal reports

Job Description

• Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of inorganic chemicals' production
• Evaluate customers' orders with Team Leader and create production schedules to meet deliverables
• Oversee the planning and ordering of Anhydrous Ammonia (skid tanks/cylinders)
• Keep track of NH3 and NH4OH Performance Matrix and account for deviation/breaches captured by the matrix

Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, the Process Engineer will provide technical guidance on packaging-related customer complaints, deviations and investigations, as well as develop and participates in continuous process improvement activities to enhance packaging performance metrics.
