• Lead a team of line leaders and operators to meet daily production output, quality, productivity and yield.

• Conduct daily pass-down meetings and escalate line issues if any

• Oversee manpower/overtime and consumables planning

• Ensure manufacturing and safety procedures are being followed

• Conduct training/coaching to leaders & operators to improve performance

• Implement ideas and improvement activities to prevent human errors

• Ensure good discipline and housekeeping in the line

• Coordinate with other departments to support projects, evaluations and preventive maintenance activities in the fab

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and optimise all aspects of our operations, from managing janitorial staff to ensuring the highest standards of service delivery across multiple client accounts. Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Training: Lead the hiring, onboarding, and training of janitorial staff to build a high-performing team.
• Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with multiple clients, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Performance Management: Oversee staff performance, conduct regular evaluations, and implement performance improvement plans as required.
• Attendance and Inventory Management: Ensure accurate attendance submissions and manage stock procurement to meet operational demands.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate supervisors and janitors to deliver outstanding service, fostering a positive work environment.
• Operations Oversight: Manage daily operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to service standards.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in hospitality, commercial cleaning, or facilities management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including operational software and email communication.
• Familiarity with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Employment Act and its application in workforce management.
• Availability to work on rotating shifts,weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Material planning - Base on forecast and PO given

· Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed

· Collate purchase orders and issue purchase order to order materials, goods, tools, packaging material & etc.

· Track orders and ensure timely delivery

· Negotiates with supplier for best price, payment and delivery term.

· Liaise with Sub Contractor for converting sizes and delivery schedule

· Prepared documents (eg. acknowledge PO / Performa Invoice or Invoice) to Account Department to prepare cheque / TT payment.

· Coordinate with warehouse staff / production on delivery schedule & etc.

· Daily receive incoming goods in system

· Yearly supplier performance review
