Summary

Guest Services Executive focuses on customer service and foster relationships with other departments to ensure that guests’ needs are met. • Design and consulting services provided as a part of the Built Environment team in the delivery of communications systems including: Structured Cabling Systems, Wi-Fi, Networks, IBMS, CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detection, Audio-Visual and Multi-media systems.
• Maintaining close contact with key personnel within the providers of systems with respect to opportunity, delivery and relationship development
• Assisting senior management in identifying and developing opportunities and submission of proposals for new work opportunities
• Collaborate with the broader Aurecon ICT Group to bring the best of Aurecon’s global expertise to our clients.

Experience / Skills:

• Degree in Mechnical Engineering (or equivalent qualification) or have a proven track record in the delivery of design projects.
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience, preferably in consulting environment, with minimum 3 years of working experience in detailed design, design with contractor and onsite experience.
• Relevant experience in mechanical/electrical building services engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations.
• Have knowledge and understanding of engineering practices, techniques and procedures and interfaces with design team and client needs.
• Make reference to regulations, industry standards and good practice in engineering design.
• A track record of having worked on a variety of Building Services designs covering for example, Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare and Commercial projects.
• Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients.
• Able to contribute to the fee proposal and determine resources.
• Able to assess staff requirements at each work stage, agreeing these with the Project Manager and be able to manage single disciplinary and multi-disciplinary projects.
• Worked in infrastructure projects, e.g. railway projects will be an added advantage
• Experience in BIM (Revit) will be an added advantage.
• A member of a professional Institution or close to achieving professional engineer status.

Role Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the fee proposal and determine resources.
• Preparation of design report, calculation, drawings, specification, cost estimation and details/ schedules for projects.
• Conduct M&E services site survey
• Lead in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliveries
• Produce mechanical design from concept to detail design
• Assist Professional Engineer in liaison, preparation and follow up of Authority Submission.
• Work closely with Clients / Architects/ Structural Engineers / Quantity Surveyors, etc.
• Assist Project Manager in up-keeping the project ISO quality documentation and records.
• Prepare outline scheme report/technical content of the design information
• Input to pre-qualification and selection of contractors, respond to tender queries, comment and review tender returns.
• Conduct presentations / workshops on techanical matters.
• Attend tender/client interviews.
• Attend site inspection meetings.
• Ensure the project work complies with the Project Management Plan and Programme.
• Ensure quality, sound and efficient engineering design service being reflected in every project deliverable.
• Conduct design check/review with junior engineers on every project handled.
• Preparation of design report, calculation, drawings, specification, cost estimation and details/ schedules for projects.
• To work closely with junior engineers, provide necessary guidance, training and provide assistance on their technical / professional development at AECOM.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop and manage all publicity efforts and communications to drive partnerships and programmes awareness. This includes working with the CDAC Centre Management Committee to identify suitable partnerships for potential collaboration;
• Consolidate partners’ resources and co-design and evaluate programmes with partners;
• Mentor primary school children from disadvantaged families to develop their social-emotional competencies and life skills. This involves working with schools, parents, volunteers and community partners to provide transitioning support for these children as they progress from kindergarten to primary and eventually to secondary levels;
• Assist in designing and developing learning programmes for the following objectives:

o to develop a positive self-image in children for their personal growth;

o to foster friendship amongst children and develop a sense of belonging to the community;

• Foster partnership with Singapore Ministry of Education and other community organisations to provide opportunities for children in disadvantaged families. This is to enhance the social mobility of low income families’ children. In this role, you will have opportunities to work with vendors, community partners, schools, and volunteers in implementing these programmes; and
• Developing outcome measures and using data-driven approaches to track the development of children in CDAC programmes. Using the data and outcomes derived from tracking, you will work with other CDAC officers to review, and refine programme implementation to better achieve social mobility for low income families’ children.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in programmes design, volunteer, teaching and partnership engagement.
• Strong beliefs in the child’s wellbeing and overall development are necessary. This also includes a strong belief that every child can learn and is unique.
• Experience in working with young children, particularly as part of the Student Development Team (SDT) in a primary school may be advantageous.
• Experience in designing programmes to develop life skills and passion of children be it in aesthetics, sports, and outdoor education.
• Practical experience in designing children programmes with a view to develop their self-interest, identity, and strengths is important. Professional qualifications in learning design may be advantageous but not necessary.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Willing to work off-site, particularly at different CDAC centres or schools, as well as on weekends and evenings when necessary.

Summary

Guest Services Officer focuses on customer service and foster relationships with other departments to ensure that guests’ needs are met. He/She is responsive to activities that take place at the Front Office area and is a point of contact for guest upon their arrival until their departure from the hotel.

Job Responsibilities

· Be part of Front Office areas such as Front Desk, Executive Lounge and Concierge

· Assist guests with check-in and check-out, and other cashiering duties

· Register guests and assigns rooms according to their reservation confirmation

· Work towards maximising room revenue by upselling higher room categories to guests whenever possible

· Maintain the privacy of all guests by ensuring their details are kept strictly confidential

· Understand all room types and work with Housekeeping to manage room status effectively

· Assist to perform Executive Lounge and Concierge duties whenever required
