1. Plan, execute and supervise all M&E related facilities maintenance work service. Lead a team of technical officers and technicians for the facilities management activities. Advise and lead the technical (M&E) investigations for rectification works with the manager.
2. Investigate, analyse and determine root cause and report any M&E breakdown and fault effectively.
3. Together with Manager to manage M&E works and services for effective and efficient M&E facilities performance.
4. Coordinate and supervise the M&E installation and maintenance work. Planning and scheduling of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works.
5. Carrying out regular inspection and provide recommendation for improvement or rectification work if needed. Conducting regular inspection to ensure all maintenance programme are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
6. Perform troubleshooting and analyse faults and provide recommendation for sustainable and cost- effective solutions.
7. Operate and control automated M&E systems, conduct testing & commissioning.
8. Working closely with the client, sub-contractors, and the project team to resolve any technical issues. Attend M&E related meetings and involve in the preparation of related reports.
9. Monitor work progress, drawings and other relevant documents related to M&E works. Involve in quotation and fault reports.
10. Assist in planning, controlling, and coordinating of mechanical, electrical, and building works. Schedule, monitor and supervise the progress of works. Prepare and following up closely on the enquiries and quotations.
11. Build and maintain good client relationships and uphold high quality standards.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
2. M&E Facilities Management or related M&E fields or FM operations background with at least 3 years of Singapore relevant experience will be an added advantage.

Qualifications:

Types of Experience:

Senior Design Engineer work in conjunction with Clients, Consultant, Contractors and Sub-Contractors in order to oversee the design and construction of a project. To conduct laboratory tests (using e.g. electrodynamic shaker and temperature/humidity chambers) in accordance with the test procedure.

To direct the test operator on the operation of test equipment (e.g. electrodynamic shaker and temperature/humidity chambers) to meeting the test requirement [NOTE: There are several laboratories which the technician is required to make (approximately 10 trips) to these laboratories every quarter.

To liaise with equipment designers by coordinating the date/time to perform functional checks on Product Under Test.

• Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
