Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with consultant, subcon, and other related parties with thing the project.
• Carry out site inspection with consultant.
• Joint Inspection with RE and RTO
• Progress monitoring and update the site activities.
• Planning and arranging the site activities.
• Manage site activities and ensure compliance to requirements.
• Maintain data base of laboratory testing and report/result submission.
• Preparation of method statement and work instructions for construction
• Planning, coordination and supervision of technical aspects of construction projects.
• Manage oversee and monitor construction activities to ensure design specifications and quality requirements are met.
• Involve in coordination between sub-contractors / vendors / departments and anticipate labour / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Involve in planning all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Preparing daily reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction
• Min 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to manage tasks as per priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skill
• Preferred knowledge in Autocad and BIM

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for implementing site quality assurance and quality control system, in compliance with the quality standards at site.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Engage the project team to deliver high quality works;
• Lead the QA/QC team and train the site team on Structural and Architectural trades;
• Assess site operations and procedures daily and recommend improvement actions;
• Provide insights for defects and recommend preventive measures;
• Prepare monthly reports for Management;
• Conduct Internal Quality Audits;
• Compile trade information, test reports, and formalize documentation;
• Liaise with authorities (i.e. BCA on assessment to achieve target score, LTA on inspections and compliances)
• Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.

• Obtain buy-in from project team towards quality assurance and quality control initiatives.
• Translate deep understanding of quality standards and requirements into site works.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or construction related field
• Experience: At least 3 years of building and/or civil engineering experience.
• Experience in QA/QC and certified auditors would have an added advantage.
• Completed at least 1 building project

Technical Competencies

• Knowledge of quality requirement of BCA, industry norms and contract specifications
• Quality Management Systems certification – ISO 9000
• Knowledge in Structural and Architectural works
