Research Engineer, Algorithm and Operation Researcher for VR/AR system development

• Support the development of advanced VR/AR systems to enhance research. This position focuses on developing Unity-based applications, designing and integrating virtual environments with real-time tracking data for immersive visualization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Join the team to development of advanced VR/AR systems:
• Develop Unity-based applications for dynamic visualization and seamless user interaction.
• Design and implement immersive VR environments.
• Create and enhance high-resolution 3D models of animal and terrains, adding articulated joints for realistic movement and animation of animal model.
• Complete necessary technical documentation writing, summarizing and recording according to project progress.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve project milestones and undertake additional tasks required for successful project completion.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree/PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or relevant area.
• At least 2 years of experience in Unity or Unreal Engine development.
• Experience with 3D modelling software (e.g., Blender, Maya).
• Proficiency in C# programming.
• Familiarity with VR hardware, especially Meta Quest Pro or equivalent devices.

The Business Development Manager APAC reports to the Sales Director ("SD") in Singapore and works directly with allocated customers and distribution partners in Asia.

In this duty, the Business Development Manager APAC is responsible to play ELPRO's full portfolio of solutions. Revenues and profit margins of existing customers should be retained and increased. New customers to be gained and further developed. Further, the Business Development Manager provides important input on future sales activities and action plans to grow business in Asia and plays a key role to achieve the goals set in co-operation with the Managing Director. The collaboration between local sales teams and global key accounts is fundamental for ELPRO's success and has to be strongly emphasized by the Sales Director Asia. Due to the complexity of customer projects and processes, it is essential to properly document the complete sales and project processes in ELPRO's ERP system.

Sales:

• In co-operation with the Sales Director develop the business in Asia.
• Grasp the market potential for all ELPRO solutions in the defined market.
• Own customer responsibility.
• Serve as an expert on customer needs and organizations, contract negotiations and customer retention.
• Provide input to specific objectives of the budget / sales plan with functional department.
• Develop partnerships to increase growth with selling partnerships, provide input to contract renewal and overall development of the partners.
• Promote and develop a strong sales culture within the organization.
• Lead sales projects in order to win the business and to ensure a smooth implementation of such.
• Work close together with customer service, project management and technical team to bring projects to success.

Planning:

Responsibilities:

• Increase company's revenue and presence in the Singapore Enterprise Resources Planning Software (ERP) market through acquisition of new accounts
• Generate and respond to sales leads' request for ERP software demo
• Setup meeting and worked closely with our ERP presales consultant to make effective ERP system presentation with existing and potential prospects
• Respond to quotation requests and assist with business and grant proposals
• Independent in monitoring your sales pipeline and be able to executive effective sales analysis and strategy in winning accounts
• Meet sales targets and sales performance KPI’s as agreed with you and management
• Update inhouse CRM system for sales reporting

• Planning of project works schedules and controlling the costs of the project.

• Liaise with clients on-site on work matters.
• Check shop drawings from the Design Department and from the clients to eliminate any problems on site construction.
• Troubleshoot problems on-site in order to ensure delays are minimized and additional costs reduced.
• Provide technical and practical support to supervisors and foremen to assist them in the construction process.
• Preliminary design of temporary elements for site use or for tender purposes.
• Wastage and productivity control on site.
• Ensure compliance with Company's IMS process and procedures.
• Ensure OSH risk assessment and EMS impact & aspect register are conducted and implemented in company operations.
