This is a great opportunity to be part of the leadership team at StashAway. Reporting into VP, Investment Advisory, you will be a key participant and driver of the strategic direction & delivery for StashAway’s offering for the purpose of market leadership. Working with the Investment team, Product, Compliance, and Marketing, you will identify opportunities in unmet client needs for product development and positioning. Once products are launched, you will continue to own the long-term success of the product and via it StashAway’s leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the growth strategy and plan along with senior leadership.
- Stay on top of industry developments, anticipate trends in our markets, product line performance, and competitive intelligence.
- Work closely with the Investment Office to identify new investment structures and products.
- Evaluate partners and develop business cases for how we can build industry-leading products that drive acquisition and/or share of wallet.
- Build strategic direction with Head of Product for both investment products and experience, and own the delivery of business plans.
- Collaborate with investment and marketing teams to enhance communication and product growth strategies.
- Work closely with Country Managers to define growth strategies via product & segment development.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to CCRO.
- Partner with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, UX researchers & UI designers to bring the right balance to decision making between quantitative and qualitative data to prioritise impact (speed & quality) of what we ship.
- Evaluate new product success through key quantitative and qualitative (unit economics) metrics to strengthen feedback loops & iterations. Deliver them via dashboards to inform beyond the squad on key bets.
- Surface any resource needs and other blockers to C-suite, play a significant role in driving issues resolution and continuous planning, including setting Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for the company.
- 5-7+ years’ experience in a strategy and/or scaleup role.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks, and project management skills.
- Ability to liaise with stakeholders and influence people of a diverse range of backgrounds.
- Experience in applying strategic frameworks and tools for analysing strategic problems and developing strategies.
- Experience in the Fintech/Investment industry is a plus, a deep passion for investment is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to establish credibility and strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strong performance across a broad range of strategic engagements.
