The Chemical Technician is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operations of the process units and equipment by measuring, recording and controlling process operating parameters.

He/She is also expected to diagnose and rectify systems and components’ faults in accordance to established procedures and specifications and to ensure that the process units and equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor maintenance.
  Performing checks, start-up and shutdown operations on process equipment such as pumps and compressors.
  Carry out filter changes.
  Isolating piping systems for plant start-up, shutdowns, product grade change and troubleshooting operations.
  Adjusting process parameters to optimize process operations under supervision of Supervisors.
  Commissioning and decommissioning of process equipment.

Job Purpose

Maximizes yield by working on tools, the process, or wafer fabrication recipes. Troubleshoots wafer fabrication problems and performs root cause analysis. Works with other process areas to understand and control process deviations. Long-term investigation of defect issues may require extensive work with shift engineering and other functional areas. Duties of Senior Process Engineer:

Position Summary

The Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer will be part of Vivance organization, reporting to the R&D Director in Singapore. He will contribute towards ME Engineering activities throughout the Product Development cycle of the Vivance Products.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering activities to develop new Products from concept to production
• Perform engineering activities required for support of released products for product development, quality improvement, COGS reduction, and manufacturing issues resolution.
