Qualifications:

• Completed at least 1 year of studies as part of a Diploma/Bachelor/Master in one of the following subjects: IT/Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems/Statistics/Mathematics
• At least 3 months of experience in programming
• Completed at least 1 Uni/Online hands-on course in Software Development
• Analytical Thinking

Duration

• Available for at least a 6-month internship.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business planning

• Identify market segment, strategise best way to penetrate the market for new business opportunities
• Conduct research and consolidate market/competitive information on business, analyse and propose solutions to ensure that company remains competitive
• Review rates of training programmes to ensure that they are competitive in the market
• Review and improve internal processes within department to ensure appropriate support from each team member towards the achievement of established objectives

2. Key account/Client management

• Overall accountability on account and client management
• Look at new opportunities for developing new business with existing customers
• Continuously solicit feedback from potential and existing customers and report changing market needs so as to propose formulation of new products
• Work closely with other business units such as Training to ensure that training programmes are executed smoothly

REQUIREMENT

• Tertiary qualification in Business Management / Sales & Marketing
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Development in relevant industry
• Class ‘3’ Driving License
