• Plan job flow, hours estimation and schedule process timeline using TTPS and OPS to procedure.
• Arrange outsource process requisition as per team’s decision to assist resolve bottleneck issues.
• Design drawings and job folder issuance.
• Monitor job progress & feedback timely to person-in-charge.
• Calculate internal cost estimates to justify for sub-out.
• Plan and ensure raw material, mold base and standard component requisitions are as per schedule.
• Purchase toolroom accessories and negotiate prices and prepare Purchase Requisitions.
• Monitor quality and feedback timely to person-in-charge.
• Involve in Continuous Improvement Programme.
• Update tooling status on daily basis.
• Prepare weekly machine downtime report to General Manager.
• Reject outsource request from operation if capacity does not allow or has not been agreed upon or MRR is not produced.
• Outsource if internal capacity is deemed overloaded.
• Re-prioritize job schedule according to superior’s request as per customer’s requirement.
• Reject raw materials, mold bases and standard components that do not meet requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Mold design & fabrication processes, molding processes, project management.
• Mold making processes with basic machining knowledge.
• Able to interpret 2D drawings.
• Independent with good initiative and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Provides repair recommendations of customer equipment that are cost effective, follow the standard practices of the facility, and are in accordance with industry requirements.
• Provides engineering support to the facility, vendors, and customers during the repair process to ensure project is completed successfully
• Prepare drawings, information and documentation which meets engineering standards to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market the Company's product
• Carry out product analysis and work under the guidance of more senior Engineers to meet customers' and/or the industry's needs.
• Evaluate equipment condition and specify remanufacture.
• Work within stated procedures to ensure that design records/controls are maintained.
• Be familiar with company products, design principles, manufacturing techniques and industry standards.
• Interface with other Engineers, vendors, and customers to successfully complete repair, assembly and testing of project equipment
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical field

1. Packing of finished product into paper bags weighing 20kg to 25kg
2. Stacking of finished product packed in paper bags onto wooden pallets
3. General housekeeping of work area

• To provide industrial engineering support to shop production, internal & external customers in manufacturing process development, tools & fixture design and implementation, machines programming, procedure development as per engineering BOM requirement and business need
• Create manufacturing process (routing) and procedure (work instruction) per engineering BOM, quality plan and manufacturing process requirement.
• Design tooling and fixture as manufacturing process and operations’ needs.
• Design CNC machines programming and PLC recipe as process requirement and productions schedule.
• Analyze and continuously improve manufacturing process to achieve best production safety, quality, and cost performance.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technology for shop operations objectives, manufacturing capability and capacity improvement.
• Develop and provide training for shop technicians for new products, process, tooling and others’ needs.
• Perform other technical support or projects as required
• Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering.
• Familiar with CAD / CAM 2D drawing and 3D modelling.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge will be an advantage.
• Familiar with MS software
