You will:

• Drive the end-to-end development of new business initiatives, from ideation to launch, with a focus on scalability across Southeast Asia.

• Collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs and align with our overall business goals.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in business development, new business creation, or entrepreneurship, particularly in Southeast Asia or similar emerging markets. Experience in tech startups or innovative industries is highly valued.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of Southeast Asia’s economic, social, and business landscapes, with the ability to navigate diverse markets and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in market research, competitor analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Innovation-Driven: Passion for innovation and the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable business strategies. Experience in product development or service design is a plus.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and external partners. Strong communication and leadership skills are a must.
• Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. Willing to take ownership of projects and drive them forward with limited oversight.
• Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work across different cultural contexts in Southeast Asia, building relationships and partnerships that respect local nuances.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in regional languages (e.g., Japanese, Mandarin, Bahasa, Thai, or Vietnamese) is an advantage.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia to meet partners, conduct market research, and oversee projects on-site.
• Internal alignment: Our HQ is in Japan. Internal alignment experience with Japanese company are needed
