Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Cirriculum Development:
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum and lesson plans tailored to students' educational needs and aligned with respective educational standards
- Design educational programs that support students' academic progress and overall lerning outcomes
2. Assessment Creation & Grading:
- Create, assign, and grade a variety of assessments, including tests, quizzes, essays, and other evaluative tools to gauge students' understanding
- Provide constructive feedback on assessments to guide students' improvement
3. Homework & Classwork Preparation:
- Prepare worksheets, exercises and materials for students to complete in-class and as part of their homework assignments
4. Classroom Management:
- Establish and enforce rules of behavior in the classroom to maintain a positive, productive learning environment
- Address behavioral issues and ensure the classroom remains conducive to learning
5. Student Progress Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and track student progress regularly, identifying areas of strength and areas that need further development
- Communicate students' progress to parents and guardians consistently, offering feedback and suggestions for improvement
6. Adherence to Curriculum Standards:
- Ensure that teaching, assessments and student progress align with the guidelines and objectives of the relevant curriculums
- Tailer teaching strategies to accommodate the varied learning needs of students
7. Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly teaching schedules, lesson preparation, grading and other administrative duties efficiently
- Commit to provide at least 20 hours of teaching per week
8. Student Support:
- Offer personalised support to students with varying language skills, learning styles, and educational needs
- Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student dispositions and foster a positive learning experience for all
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in language or education
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an English Teacher
