Key Responsibilities:

• The focus for this role is to lead to identify, develop, industrialize, and globalize laser ablation processes for cooling holes clearing technology for the services network. This role can affect short-term and long-term business goals.
• Hands-on experimentation to apply and integrate advancements in laser technology to enhance process efficiency and quality
• Recommend approaches to meet the technical and program requirements.
• Understanding of laser system and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Identify project, develop, industrialize and globalize cooling holes clearing technology for the services network
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams on development and implement of technology
• Provide technical leadership to other personnel; mentor others in the organization
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
• Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials from an accredited college or university

• Experience in laser physics and ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges through direct engagement with equipment and processes.
• Basic understanding of robotic concepts and systems, including vision systems and kinematics
• Ability and willingness to travel a minimum 10% of the time, as required
• Able to demonstrate experience in project management and hands on trials
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
