As an R&D Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge machine tool products and technologies for CNC Milling, including peripheral equipment and automation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Proactively develop and validate new, unique electrical engineering designs.
• Contribute to enhancing the electrical design of various products.
• Assist in electrical designs under the guidance of R&D Senior Engineers.
• Study electrical customization requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Prepare accurate engineering documents such as electrical/circuit drawings, Bill of Material, Engineering Change Order, and engineering reports.
• Work towards achieving R&D development goals that align with business needs.
• Provide engineering support and innovative solutions to relevant departments (manufacturing, customer service, sales, application, etc).
• Contribute actively to improving Makino’s technical core competency through continuous learning and creative problem-solving.

To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of electrical design principles.
• Familiarity with software tools such as EPLAN, Solidworks, E3, and AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC, optimizing cloud resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Oversee migration of on-premises storage to AWS cloud, assuring data integrity, minimal downtime, and seamless transition.
• Handle day-to-day administration of Storage and backup environments, SAN switch administration, tech refresh, upgrading and patching, monitoring for failures, generating reports using OpsCenter, and ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct storage device performance monitoring, storage sizing assessments, and integration of storage systems with various platforms.
• Expertise in VMware ESX servers, vMotion, HA, DRS.
• Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Failover Cluster services management.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience of related experience
• Must be Certified with either AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Cloud Certified Solution Architect
