• To act as Senior Civil Site Engineer for the construction of underground MRT Station
• Plan and Supervise ERSS and Deep Excavation works
• Supervise and ensure strict quality control
• Prepare and Review Technical Documents
• Keep record of all site activities and prepare daily site report
• Supervise any repair works
• Monitor and report progress of the works on site
• 60 hours per week working hours

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering
• Master Degree in Civil / Strutural Engineering is preferred
• Very good experience in deep excavation, Earth Retaining Stabilizing Structures (ERSS), piling works (bored piles, sheet piles, soldier piles), pile load testing (ULT and PDA), ECM and pipe jacking works
• Relevant experience in ground improvement techniques (DCM, WSM, and JGP)
• Relevant experience in the construction of strutting works, Excavation, Secant Bored Pile, Diaphragm Wall
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in the above area

Job Responsibilities:

• To be involved in the planning and execution of civil and structural engineering works.
• Assist Management in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operation of the projects.
• To prepare method of statement, construction sequencing, sketches, and other technical submissions.
• To monitor the execution of the site works. To review and further develop the method and/or sequence of the works to ensure safety and efficiency.
• To assist in the preparation of RA/SWP and other safety documents.
• To collaborate with peers, and to liaise with trade contractors, clients and consultants and ensure timely delivery of quality services.
• To prepare Inspection and Test Plan, and conduct inspection and check on works performed.
• Check the drawings discrepancies and conduct field verification and submit technical clarification to the clients and consultants. Ensure updated drawings including shop drawings are used by the site team in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil) or equivalent from a recognized University accredited with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Preferably with design, consulting experience and Improvement works to Surface Car Parks.
• Conversant with Eurocode or Local codes and regulations as well as submission procedures.
• Well knowledge in CAD, BIM and other Civil Engineering software is necessary.
• Good project management and ability to work independently and under pressure to meet tight schedules.
• Proficient in MS office applications and keen to learn new things.

• Designs of electrical engineering service for building projects, and knowledge of mechanical engineering services
• Prepare tender documents, call tenders, evaluate tender returns and recommend tender awards
• Project management, coordination, supervisions, testing and commissioning for installations of mechanical and electrical engineering services during construction phases. This includes reviewing shop drawings, progress claims and variation claims.
• Engage in discussions with relevant authorities for preparations and submissions of plans
